wow thanks for post! is this a rare thing? at your mapquest link if you zoom out 3rd to farthest (bottom) button you can see it is west of the bay of biscay & france & above spain in the atlantic-wonder if this a 'hot spot' for roque waves(?)

This is a ship obs from the "HANSA VISBY" It's a Liberia ship, so not sure how much I trust it as all the buoys are showing 5 ft waves around Europe.

I'm pretty sure that must have just been a technical error. That report was from, like, 9 hours ago and the 200 foot wave didn't show up on any other buoys or hit any land masses. hmmm??

Complete bullshit, the NOAA data shows NO such wave. In fact, the largest shown is on 36 feet. And the location is less than 300 miles off Spain, MANY other ships would have seen AND BEEN HIT by such a wave!
