Quake occurred Friday, November 22, 2013 at 14:33:59 (UTC) This is the second time 3+ Oklahoma quakes have triggered our alert system. Pressure levels hit 105 on the predictor meter several hours before, and were still at warning levels at the time of the quake. Levels fell sharply following the event. We saw the quake as it occurred on seismos here in Arkansas also, but usgs did not report the quake in a timely fashion. We had only guesses as to where it was at. It showed up very clearly on Hobbs seismo in Northwest Arkansas after it occurred. It is clear this was the producer of the pressure readings we were witnessing. Certainly we will be at warning levels, as we predicted weeks ago, should Oklahoma have a large quake. It is reasonable to assume Arkansas is certainly at greater risk,as our readings were so clear so long before this event. If you live in Oklahoma we feel certain we can give warning of quakes of 3+ size in advance...... [ link to seismicradiation.com] |
