sleep paralysis
I just found out what i go through almost ones a week is called sleep paralysis? there will be this huming sound slowly getting louder then starts pressing against your ears, you feel a overwelming feeling that you are not alone in your room, but when you look around? there is nothing there, is it just a disorder? are they aliens? or ghosts near by?

Re: sleep paralysis
What you described is how mine is, but nothing ever really happens. I just fall into a lucid dream.

No aliens, ghosts. After you hear the ringing enough times, and go through the same routine, it gets old...

Re: sleep paralysis
the humming or electrical like buzz is the energies that you will hear just before separating from your physical body. Presence in the room, well that could well be something on the astral plane, maybe related to your specific area.

Re: sleep paralysis
I go through it once or twice a week. I actually enjoy it, I'm not sure if you get the feeling of "Pure Terror" when it happen's but I do. I'm usually half awake and can't move, and since it happen's so often I'm not scarred when it happen's or anything but for some reason my brain get's this feeling od pure terror and I get a slight adrenaline rush and kind of feel like I'm on opiod's, as in very euphoric and when i move my eye's to look around everything haze a yellow-sh haze and sometime's thing's bend or swirl a little bit. Then I usually fully wake up and can move or I fall back completely asleep.

It's supposed to be when you are half awake but your brain is still in Deep REM state. Deep REM is when you are at the highest point of being asleep and dreaming.

Re: sleep paralysis
I had a problem like this when I was a child... we finally found out what was causing it... I slept in front of a window and I also slept with my eyes partially opened... when the moon would go by my window when I was sleeping.. It would hypnotize me...

we put shades on the window and it never happened again...

I have experienced this too since i was a child. It always starts with that humming vibration. Whenever it starts i always manage to fight it off these days. For me i always sense an extra-terrestrial presence and a feeling of violation.
Time to depart this earthly vehicle...

Re: sleep paralysis
Your body puts out a chemical to stop you acting out your dreams when you sleep. Sometimes, if you're stressed or not sleeping very well this chemical sometimes floats about for a bit after you wake.
