Christians, why do you worship the Jesus & Mary chain when jesus himself told you to follow "his Father" of the old testament

"His Father" was not the old testament god.
Jesus said:
"If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is within you and it is outside you."

Then why christ never adressed name of the OT god? Why teachings of jesus extremely contradicts the teachings of Old testament? Jesus said, "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father." John 14:9 "I and My Father are one." John 10:30
