Is it not weird that there are NO IMAGES OF ISON WITHOUT A COMA OR TAIL?!?!

what intrests me more is why comet ison was never imaged without a coma or a tail?

has that even occured before?

all of the comets that have passed previously have been imaged long before a coma and tail has developed.
showing there rocky surface

ison has no such images.....

can we assume ISON has always had a tail and a coma?
does this tell us about its history?
does that change everything for comet theory?
does this accomodate an electric comet/universe theory?

so seeing JPL's updates these last few days got me thinking.

if ISON has a speculated orbit to continue for 500,000 years off into the cosmos, and is no longer hyperbolic....it CAN NOT be 6km long

if ison has a coma of 600,000,000 kms in size, where did all that material come from?!
with isons nucleus being just 6km, it should have exhuasted itself long ago

so that got me thinking
ISON must be MUCH bigger than reported.

so i searched for images to show ISON before it had a coma or tail.
but found NONE
why are there none?

there are no images of ison before it interacted with our sun?
but has traveled all this way, with a coma?

how are there no images of ISON before the reaction that has happened with our sun?
before its coma formed?

there should be images of just its rocky mass?

I agree. This thing must far FAR larger than initial estimates. Remember Lovejoy? That got that wrong by 10 times! If ISON is ten times larger, we're looking at at least 35km. But I think it will be far larger than that.

Let's assume ISON is round and has a diameter of 3km = 300,000 cm

Volume of ISON: V = (4/3) * pi * r^3
V = (4/3)* 3,14159.. * 300,000 cm^3 = 113,097,335,529,232,000 cm^3

Density of comets = 0.6 g/cm^3 to 0.4 g/cm^3
Let's take the lower value = less mass.

Mass of the comet:
113,097,335,529,232,000 cm^3 * 0.4 g/cm^3 = 45,238,934,211,692,800 g
= 45,238,934,211,692.80 kg
= 45,238,934,212 MT

NASA gave the outgasing and dust at 50 MT/minute.
Of course this increases when it comes closer to the sun.
Thus let's take as an average 100x the NASA value:
5,000 MT/minute
= 300,000 MT/hour
= 7,200,000 MT/day

45,238,934,212 MT / 7,200,000 MT = 6,283 days = 17,21 years of continuos shedding of 7.2 million MT/day of gas und dust

Assuming the outgasing starts two years before perihelion (around the Saturn orbit):
Saturn - Sun - Saturn = 4 years

17.21 years / 4 years = 4.3 rounds around the sun.

Same calculation for a 6 km nucleus gives:
137.71 years or 34.4 rounds around the sun.



How to spot a 3 km object at 4 AU?
You ever heard of Dawes' limit?



Since you state it as a fact, I guess you can provide photos.
Otherwise I must assume your claim is only hot air.

Given that you only reduced the g to kg equation by a factor of 10 [when it should have been 1000], we can reduce that equation by 100 can we not?

17.21 years = 206.52 Months

206.52 Months divided by 100 = 2 Months

Is that correct?
