Yea, talk about doom, they put a lot of those nuke plants in that area. I have wondered why put them in dangerous zones.

The nuke plants need copious amounts of water for cooling.

"A new USGS report of September 30, 2013 says the weak rocks under the Reelfoot Rift fault lines extend more than 100 miles down into the mantle, much farther than weak rocks found in other ancient rift zones in the central and eastern US.

The new report is based on new methods of studying what's beneath the ground. This report does not yet say whether scientists are upping the chances of a big quake. It says the new data lets them look back 500 million years rather than 4,500 years. Data will require "further study."

A Disaster Waiting to Happen

It was the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who finally made the Swampeast habitable. Just south of Cape Girardeau the levee line began, to Continue 2,200 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. The levees kept the floodwaters Out. During the decades of prosperity, the farmers had forgotten the conditions under which they had prospered were artificial. Southeastern Missouri was as artificial as the Washington Monument, the St. Louis Gateway Arch, or the space shuttle, and like these, existed as a monument to the ingenuity of humankind. The land there had been manufactured.

But that which is artificial occupies a precarious position in the world of nature. Its existence depends upon the maintenance of the conditions under which it was designed. YES! This is historically documented fact. A Shawnee Indian shaman -- brother of Tecumseh -- who was largely ridiculed and hated by almost all whites, and by many Indians as well, PREDICTED the quakes.

The stories of Tenskwatawa are still known among native people here in central Oklahoma, but he is largely unknown and misunderstood anywhere else. Here's an attempt at a biography of the man who predicted the earthquakes:

A true mystery. He spent the first half of his life as a pathetic coward and drunkard. Then seemingly overnight developed shamanic powers. He died in oblivion, and remains a mystery to all. Shawnee people understand that what happened to him was simply a sort of natural occurence.

Why would FEMA Region 3 be staging? The New Madrid is in Region 5,6, and 7.

IMO, the BP Oil Spill was done with the specific purpose of destabilizing the sea floor in the Gulf that is adjacent to the mouth of the mighty Mississippi River in hopes that this would help to precipitate a new Great Quake in the New madras Seismic Zone (NMSZ).

What if they did this (the above) in a effort to decrease the pressure that has been building within the zone to reduce the damage from the inevitable quake that is coming?

They can't stop it but perhaps some of the effects might be mitigated ...

Interesting in the wiki that man describes it as a fiery comet during the earthquake of 1811. I found many descriptions of same comet being very bright but white (yellowish in Russia). I can't find any other "fiery". Is it possible it electrically reacted with Earth over Missouri?

I think it was Tecumseh who predicted the earthquake.

In my dream last night, where the new harbor was being
built, there was also a powerful panther who passed by.

I didn't mention it in my earlier post, since it didn't seem to fit in with the dream in any sensical way.

Incorrect, if there were to be a quake in the New Madrid seismic zone, the indecent response team would setup in either Kansas City, MO (region 7 HQ), or Chicago (Region 5 HQ). The mississippi would be used to ferry equipment and supplies via TnEMA ( [link to www.tnema.org)] out of Memphis.

But none of this actually matters since nothing is going to happen. Pretty lights in the sky are not the mark of impending doom like they were 200 years ago. Everything will be fine.
