I work in healthcare. The big push right now is getting as many people as possible to sign DNR's (do not resuscitate) forms, and other forms that limit treatment. I know this from personal experience. We are being in-serviced on it next week. The reason for this is hospitals know that most Medicare $$ are spent in the 6 months before death. The plan is to cut that 6 months short to save money. There are the standard DNR forms plus another, newer one that's making the rounds.
