.223 has come down a lot, I am not paying half of .223 for .22lr, I would rather just buy .223.

I posted on here like 6 months ago or so when .22lr went to a dollar a round, fuck that shit.

Unless you want to pay out the ass, it is hard to come by.

This is it. You can find it. I see it all the time, but it's way over priced. Answer to solution, if you have enough all ready, stop shooting it and you won't have to worry about looking for it.

I see an occasional white box at Walmart of 22Mag but that is it.

I need the CCI 22 Mag in 35gr for a friend who just sighted in my brand new .308
[link to www.flickr.com]

He did a very good job and I have been to several gun stores but no .22mag is around. I feel bad not being about to get him what he needs.

I see even SG is out - [link to www.sgammo.com]

.40 is not a problem around here anymore along with .45 and the local WMs are overflowing with .223 and 5.56

I need to find Eley Tenex which is what I use for competition... Can't find it locally anywhere, and have to order it at the very least $200 for 500rds.

was able to pickup some bulk rounds from online for around .04 cents a round a month or so ago. lucked out and got about 4k rounds of copper plated HV over a months time. normal priced bulk has been rare as hen's teeth since then. picked up a couple hundred rounds of the good stuff for normal price since then. still can't go into the lgs and buy it off the shelf, they haven't had any for almost 9 months.

It's still pretty steep, but this sight is pretty beast. It basically aggregates ammo prices from all over the place.

Cabellas had the cheapest 22lr the other day when I was looking (.09/rd) which is still steep for 22lr imho, but they would only allow 100 per customer/per day.

Wound up getting 1000rds for about 160 (shipping and all.)

Pffft couldnt have been cabelas its 1 box per day per customer

To ensure all of our customers have fair access to inventories, this product has a quantity limit of 1 per order, per customer, per day.

Its a shame 2 the night of "sandiie hooook" I went to cabelas and scored 1 ammo can with 4) 525 round boxes of bulk fed to my front door for $82.00 Last time I ordered online for 22LR was gander Mt and was got 8) CCI HV HP and 2) CCI .22 mag vmax for $92 shipped. next day was gone like the wind I have been finding 22-250 regularly .40grain vmax here and there for $19-$21 / box 20 match grade. good luck all grandkids need ammo for when their kids start shooting wont even be allowed by then. gunbot I think is the best one its realtime.

cabela's is one box per head per day however when the federal champion in the ammo can is available you get 2100 rounds and only counts as one box even though there are 4 bricks in the can. same with the winchester m22 but there you get 1000 rounds with 2 bricks in one box.

Walmart Lisbon, CT had 3 boxes of Remington .22LR hollowpoint. 225 rounds per box for just a hair over $10 w/ tax.

I only picked up one to allow others a chance. I gots me tons already from well before Sandy Hook like most preppers.

Funny you mention this. My father was looking for .22 lr this past weekend. Almost every other caliber was easy to find, but .22. My guess is that recent production was focused on centerfire and not rimless.
