NYC resident recieves gun confiscation letter

They apparently have info on everyone's legal gun in the city. The letter listed all of his weapons.

Feel sorry for those in New York, what a sad state our country is in. I will never comply.

This will likely happen in other states as well, California, Washington etc..

But the Prez said if we like our guns we can keep em right?

I think we'll see a full blown civil war before they ever succeed with this nation wide. I have no idea how they managed to get a list of their weapons though. I didn't think NICS contained information on what guns you buy besides long rifle or handgun?

If I recall correctly it's not that hard to get a license as a gunsmith. Then you could certify that your guns and your friends' are satisfactorily modified.

going through the hall to their door there's a guy sitting outside waiting-long gun division's in the BASEMENT as well-
i asked him whaaaazup ? you look like you're waiting to see the dean of boys or the principal-
so he says to me as he was holding one of their letters
he GOT APPROVAL
modified the shotgun WITH THEIR APPROVAL
PAID for their approval
had the gunsmith etc SUBMIT the modification etc all LAW FOLLOWED,
to hold 6 rounds !
and then THE letter.
AND wanted to keep his approved modification_d shotgun
and had to WAIT for the next officer-

i told him i wasn't waiting
and what he SHOULD DO AS IN TELL THEM TO shove it.
WENT IN AND OUT.
LEGALLY TRANSFERRED the weapons and paid enough for each transaction via FFL
and moved to Texas.

and this was MORE THAN a year ago.
PACKED UP an entire household in 2 days,called the movers..went on the net and found a rental.loaded the truck and LEFT 5:30 AM and 3 days later arrived at my destination
and NEVER LOOKED BACK either.

ALL LAW ABIDING should pack up and LEAVE and go where not only the 2nd amendment is RESPECTED ,but so IS your LIFE, FAMILY and PROPERTY.

Ah you're probably right. Once they're registered then the city or state can implement a big bureaucratic procedure like this to control what happens to them.

How do you "permanently modify" a .22LR so that it won't take more than 5 rounds? It's just a swappable magazine.

so my 5 shot pump shotgun would be legal but his bolt action .22 is illegal.
