National Day of Mourning - Thanksgiving from Native American Perspective
I woke up today and checked GLP as normal, but as a Native American, I was hoping to see some reference to Native Americans. None. It made my heart sink.

Today is the day that we mourn the loss of our country. It is a very sad day, but all I see on GLP is happy people celebrating.

'they steal buffalo. we go to war now'

is a lot different than

'If we allow france to continue their imports from Africa unchecked, then there is a chance our influence in the african nations will dwindle as well as commodities from the region. I suggest a blockade and a formal declaration of war.'

CIVILIZED nations go to war for real reasons.

The superiority of Europeans is evident, every non-European nation took hundreds of years to modernize, and some still are.

So USA belongs to the Cherokee.

YEP.

We give the Cherokee savages 'their' land back, so they can promptly exterminate the Iroquois, Sioux, Wichita, Creek, etc.

Lol how dumb are you? There were HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of tribes. Yet you call this place 'my country'
