Why do gun control advocates try to claim back ground checks and other restrictions are 'reasonable'?

The spirit of the Second Amendment is to deny government a monopoly on violence (to balance power). All of these "reasonable" restrictions on citizens give government more and more power--the government doesn't adhere to what we think is reasonable as it's never accountable.

Soon, no one will be able to resist and history tells us what happens after that.

Why would they do this? Because they believe this government acts in their best interests, so why not make it all-powerful?

There is no reasoning with such a person...

I can't tell you the number of libtards that have mocked me when I said I fear criminals and the govt the most.Both are very legitimate threats verified by history and common sense.

And yet they think banning /restricting guns because they are terrified of one percent of one percent of the population that kills people with guns is sane?\

I hear them going on all the time about how we are all 'back water paranoid hicks' that want to cling to our guns while children and other innocents die.Blah blah blah their typical emotionally driven arguments,that have approximately 0% common sense value.

They apparently are VERY happy that most of their guns are gone,and the state has heavy regulations and background checks on the ones still privately owned.They like their camera's on every corner too.

First of all if libtards care so much about children being able to grow up,they should go ahead and try to heavily regulate or ban abortions.They could save hundreds of thousands or even a million lives annually is they did so.


But they won't because facts are this us not about saving childrens lives.It's about an increasingly tyrannical government oppressing it's people;and having a half assed excuse to get the sheeple to support them doing so
