Here in Lawrenceburg, Indiana as I was leaving moms house the main drag in Greendale there was a police check point for safty belts. It wasn't a stop and go check point but rather a spot check. Damn the gov. for conditioning us here for martial law. Never would of thought it. The odd thing was it was near a church.

This little experiment isn't just in your neck of the woods.

Federal grant money was distributed to local and state police departments to provide manpower specifically to check for seat belt violations.

As always, this is nothing more than behavioral modification, and another way to boost revenue via vehicular code violations.

Myself, I was driving scared everyday, forgetting to put my seat belt on and seeing many local police over the weekend holiday.

100 dollar fine per violation.

I was stopped once in the middle of nowhere on a highway in a sparsely populated state. Lines of cars pulled over to the side and folks opening their trunks and back doors.

"They requested that I pull over and let "them" inspect my vehicle. I asked if there was probable cause and did they have a warrant? "They" didn't like that very much and repeated their request a couple of times each time more intimidating than before. Anytime they asked me a question like "Where are you going? I responded with "Is it mandantory that I answer that?"
And each time they asked me to pull over for the car to be searched I asked for a warrant or probable cause and always followed with the question "Am I free to go?"

They tried to intimidate me with arrest for not cooperating and I would calmly tell them I am cooperating once "they" show me that they are operating legally and within my rights. That is all I would say. Finally "they" got tired of it and let me go because I was blocking the road and "their" activities. I remember looking into my rear view mirror as I drove away feeling very sad that each of those people were complying without question. And I knew that if each and every one of us said no the game would be over for "them".

I had planned that if they tried to arrest me I would leave my car running, get out and lock it. Then in order for them to get it off the road they would have to "break and enter" my car. Then once again the tables would turn on "them".

BTW, in California there are no legal "peace officers" or judges etc. According to the CA constitution one of the requirements is that "they" have to sign and take the oath of office within thirty days of taking their position. They stopped doing that years ago. So if a cop in CA stops me I remind them of this and if they are not sure about their status as a legal peace officer to let me go my way or else I can personally sue them for impersonating a peace officer for up to $10,000.000. Then I immediantly demand that they take me to the magistrate if they insist and pull their weight around. Interesting thing is, the judge is not legal either and they know it. You will never see a court "win" for this situation because they often have to let you go and it never makes it to court.

Bottom line, just because they have a gun, badge and decked out car doesn't mean they are legal even if they think they are. They "legally" have as much authority as Ronald McDonald if you have to prove it. So always question authority - know the law and make them prove they are empowered to do whatever it is they say they are empowered to do. It is a real eye opener at how much we just assume about "them". Knowledge protects BUT don't burn yourself out on studying this kind of thing - it keeps your anxiety level elevated. I now rely on the Law of Attraction to always work for me - much less work, greater satisfaction

UNCOVERING THE MYSTERY OF THE OATH OF OFFICE
Common Law Court follow-up in Alaska

By Ralph Kermit Winterrowd, 2nd.

I filed a Case, No. 3AN-98-11676 CI in a Common-Law Court venue and jurisdiction in the city of Anchorage, Alaska in December of 1998 for the right of true ownership of my pickup, which has no tags and is not registered or titled in the State of Alaska. I'm suing the Anchorage Policemen individually, the Municipality of Anchorage, the Police Chief and others for unlawfully removing my private property from private property to have it impounded.

Since this case started, I sued the Superior Court Judge Reese assigned to this case in his individual capacity and he requested to be removed from the case. Superior Court Judge Shortell has been appointed to the case and I'm waiting for him to Trespass on the case. All of the defendants have defaulted as of February 23, 1999.

Ongoing research since this case was started has revealed that THERE ARE NO PUBLIC OFFICERS in Alaska. We have a corporate state of EMPLOYEES. There is very distinct difference between a Public Officer and an Employee. "A 'public officer' as distinguished from an 'employee' must be vested by law with a portion of the sovereignty of state [of the people!] and authorized to exercise functions either of an executive, legislative, or judicial character." Jaeger Mfg. Co. v. Maryland casualty Co., 300 N.W. 680, 684, 231 Iowa 151.

The Public Officer must have an "Oath of Office" and an "Official Bond." None of the purported judges in Alaska have either. This is how it was accomplished in Alaska. Arising under the "Constitution of the State of Alaska" Article XII, Section 5, there is a very distinct Oath of Office required. Also, in Article XII, Section 5, "The legislature may prescribe further oaths or affirmations." In Chapter 162 of the laws of Alaska of 1959, the same oath as in the "Constitution of the State of Alaska" was enacted with the difference only that employees would take this oath.

We found the document titled an "EMPLOYEE AFFIDAVIT" FOR EACH OF THE JUDGES, JUSTICES AND MAGISTRATES. On each EMPLOYEE AFFIDAVIT were the words at the top "Oath of Office" and it said the authority was chapter 162 SLA 1959. The correct words of the oath followed with their signature. It was not sealed or notarized, but just has a department signature of approval.

A second "Oath" was also filed and for the superior court judges and magistrates this document was only titled "Oath," and not a "Oath of Office." Also in this Oath were additional words. The Constitutional Oath says "Constitution of the United States," but this Oath says "Constitution of the United States of America," Also when they got to the discharge my duties as.............., instead of the 'office name,' such as superior court judge (corporate name) or judge of the superior court (de jure), they used "a judicial officer for the State of Alaska" and at the end the word "ability" was changed to "abilities."

Therefore it now makes logical sense why they have only a corporate surety instead of the required Official Bond. They are all mere employees only working under the supervision of higher corporate folks and not public officers.

We are presently preparing a demand for Articles of Impeachment against all of the Supreme Court Justices and certain specific judges to go to the president of the Senate. Also, Writs of Quo Warranto are being prepared to go to the Attorney General, to test the authority of the usurpers. Also, a notice to produce the Official Bond in 15 days as found in the private law code in title 39.

Also discovered is that we have law in Alaska by Legal Notice only - another story! Stay tuned!

"Ongoing research since this case was started has revealed that THERE ARE NO PUBLIC OFFICERS in Alaska."

It's all about the wheel (so what else is new):

They want you to live long enough to be a good worker and keep running in the hamster wheel that fuels tptb's money machine. When you hit retirement age you are then deemed worthless. If you end up like poor Terri Schiavo, you are worthless. If you are terminally ill with a disease which requires medicine, then you are valuable - to the drug companies - so you must be kept alive as long as possible as long as the insurance keeps paying. Killing yourself is bad because you aren't running on the hamster wheel. Living in the wilderness is bad because you aren't paying enough into the system. Guns and knives are bad because they allow people to remove others from their place on the big banker's hamster wheel. Home remedies are bad because again you aren't feeding big pharma. Home schooling is bad because you might learn to despise the wheel.

One night I go out at 2am for Coffee. in that Parking lot there, there was a command post set up, police in riot gear, dogs, spot lights, you name it:

I freaked out!

The only thing that was missing was the trains to poland and the little yellow stars!!!

I almost grabbed my bug out that very night: Now, whether what I seen was real, or a vision, I haven't a clue. I'm still new to having these visions things:

Here in NE we have a "Click It or Ticket" campain going on. The Nazi's are on the MSM threatening us to wear it or we will get you!
There has been a police speed trap set up on the nearby street because of construction but the funny thing is they only patrol it at night when there is no constructoin going on. They double the fine for construction zones, which is fair if there is lives in danger during the day.
This fear mongering by law enforcement is just the tip of the iceberg for the police state to come, I don't think I can be a subsrevient little bitch they want me to be. I just don't know...

A PARABLE ON THE OATH OF OFFICE

An explanation of why one Christian feels legally prohibited from taking the traditional oath to "Support the Constitution."

The following parable will make clear to those without legal training why I have concluded that I may not take the current secular oath of office (to "support the Constitution").

Sometime in the 1980's

I had just passed the California Bar Exam, and I was exhilarated. Knowing that on an average day over 430,000 people become lawyers in California,[1] I showed up extra early at the Law License Office to get my License to Practice Law. In fact, I had camped out all night, and was number 7 in line.

The teller opened her window and said "Good Morning." Those of us in line straightened our posture and returned a "Good Morning."

It had been a long night, but the sixth man in line was also a Christian, and, like me, a big fan of Dr. Dobson's Focus on the Family. We had had some great conversation when we couldn't sleep.

After shuffling some papers, the teller asked the first person in line if he was ready to take the oath to support the Constitution. He said he was. The teller pressed a button and two people dressed in black robes quickly emerged from doors on opposite sides of the room. One was a man, the other a woman. A door behind the teller opened and a hooded person (man? woman?) stood behind the teller, holding a three foot high posterboard Pyramid with an Eye above it.[2] The robed man held an incense burner. The robed woman held a bell.

"Raise your right hand toward heaven," the teller said, "and repeat after me."

With right hand raised, Number One in Line said, "I solemnly swear to support the Constitution of the United States of America." The robed woman rang the bell.

"Congratulations," the teller said, as the robed figures swished back behind the doors. A few people in line clapped their hands.

Number six and I looked at each other. During the night, we had talked a little about clerical vestments, and why judges and graduates dress up like priests.

Number two in line filled out some papers and answered the teller's questions as we talked. Before long, the three robed figures emerged from their doors, and with his hand raised toward the cardboard Pyramid, Number Two took the oath. Several people in line applauded.

Number Six and I moved up in line as Number Three stood at the window.

Number Six and I had talked to Number Three while we were camped out in line. He was a member of a mainstream denomination, but definitely had a more evangelical spirit. We talked about David Barton's book on the Founding Fathers,[3] and Number Three was delighted to discover that those who framed the Constitution supported Christian moral values. During our conversation, he seemed to recognize that Christians could not and should not keep silent about their values. Number six and I looked at each other and wondered if our conversation would have any effect on Number Three, who was filling out the papers and answering the teller's questions.

We heard the teller ask him if he was ready to take the oath to Support the Constitution. "Oh yes; I'm a Christian," he naively answered in an enthusiastically audible voice.

Everyone in line was silent. The clerks at their desks behind the window all stopped their work and looked up in shocked disbelief at Number Three. The teller tore up the man's paperwork and inserted it into a slot in her station desk. "You can't take this oath if you're a Christian," she said. "Next in line, please."

No one applauded. Number Four elbowed a stunned Number Three out of the way to get to the window. Number Three turned around toward the rest of us in line, shocked, looking at us as though we might help him in some way. Several people wagged their heads. "What a jerk," someone muttered.

Number six and I were in a daze. We said nothing as Number Four was sworn in without a hitch.

As Number Five walked up to the window, Number Six turned around toward me and whispered, "What's going on here?" He was next in line and his voice was a touch frantic. I said maybe they're afraid that since Christians "must obey God rather than man" (Acts 5:29), they won't obey any laws at all. That seemed to reassure Number Six. "Yeah . . . That's it," he said, turning back around to the front of the line.

As the robed figures retreated behind their doors, Number Six moved up to the window and began filling out the papers. As he answered the teller's questions, I thought to myself about this whole bizarre ceremony - the priest-like figures in their robes, the Pyramid with the Eye - and I wondered if Number Six was going to have the same problems as Number Three.

Finally, the teller asked Number Six if he was ready to take the Oath to Support the Constitution.

"Yes I am," he said confidently. "I am a Christian with the same moral values as the Framers of the Constitution, and I know of no laws that are contrary to my faith."

The clerks at their desks looked up for a moment, and then went back to work. One clerk suppressed a giggle. The teller shook her head ever so slightly as she folded the paperwork up and inserted it into that slot. "You can't Support the Constitution if you're a Christian!" she said sternly, as though Number Six should have known this.

Now I was stunned. I knew I was next. If I said I was a Christian, I wouldn't get my license. If I did a good job of pretending to be a non-Christian and convinced the teller, she'd give me my license and swear me in. I had no idea what was going on, or what I should do. Clueless, I turned around to Number Eight and said, "You go ahead; I have to go to the men's room."

I lied. I needed to pray. I recalled some Scripture verses I memorized some years earlier:

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. {35} For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. {36} For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? {37} Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? {38} For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."
Mark 8:34-38

Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. {33} But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. {34} Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
Matthew 10:32-34

Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. {9} But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. {10} And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. {11} Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. {12} For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.
Luke 12:8-12

I went next door to the Law Library. I couldn't believe what I discovered.[4]

Christians are declared by the courts to be legally incapable of supporting the Constitution. For example, a man named Smith had a job as a draftsman for the City of San Diego. When he got the job, he was asked to sign an oath to "support the Constitution." He signed it, but added,

I declare that I owe a supreme allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ, and in making that declaration I take the same God as my witness invoking His assistance to help me to render due obedience to my country in all temporal matters.

This man lost his job for saying this. He took the City to court. He lost. He appealed. He lost again.[5]

Was I willing to take an oath in order to get myself a job? What would it profit me if I became a lawyer but lost my soul?

Sometime in the 1600's

The Puritan Founders of this land came here from Europe to establish the Christian faith.[6] Oaths of office used reflect the belief that only Christians should hold any public office. Here is how the Delaware Constitution protected society:

Every person who shall be chosen a member of either house, or appointed to any office or place of trust . . . shall . . . make and subscribe the following declaration, to wit: "I ________, do profess faith in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ His only Son, and in the Holy Ghost, one God, Blessed for evermore; and I do acknowledge the holy scripture of the Old and New Testaments to be given by divine inspiration."[7]

For generations in America, you couldn't become a politician without confessing Christ like this!

This history made the cases I found all the more disturbing. By thinking of America as a nation which began in 1776, we consign 150 years of prior Christian jurisprudence to the Orwellian "memory hole." And there is nothing in the Constitution that forces judges to rely on Scripture and the Christ revealed therein. It leaves them off the hook. Thus, in 1961, shortly before the U.S. Supreme Court reversed a centuries-old practice of prayer and Bible reading in schools, that same Court ruled that oaths could no longer be made in the Name of God, but had to conform to the tenets of the religion of Secular Humanism.[8] Would you be willing to take an oath which the U.S. Supreme Court has said is the equivalent of saying "I do profess faith in Man"?

The wisdom of the world may not be an evil "conspiracy," but it is surely "foolish" (Romans 1:22). And the wrath of God rests on such fools because on another level their "wisdom" represents a deep-seated hostility to Christ. Even if the government occasionally defends "good" or "conservative" values, it is still anti-Christ. A major transformation of American law has taken place, and it wasn't by accident. If you are required to take an oath, and you ask a judge to modify the oath to reflect the values prescribed by the Bible and honored by Christian legislators and statesmen in previous centuries, your request might be granted in the name of "pluralism" or "religious freedom." But the judge might deny your motion for the same reason, because a Christian oath reflects a Christ-honoring Theocracy long since repudiated as an infringement on human autonomy.

All told, I found case after case after case which make very clear the fact that this is now a secular nation, and Christians can no longer become lawyers, hold public employment, or even become American citizens - unless they keep their mouth shut and come out looking like a Secular Humanist.[9]

I went back to the Law License Office. I had worked very hard to pass the Bar Exam. They say California's Exam is the most difficult Bar Exam in the world. But as I thought about the Pyramid with the Eye, and the fate of Number Three and Number Six (and Smith, and Summers, and a great many others), I had real doubts about my ability to keep silent and get my license.

The State now claims to be God. You're in line for a job. What would you do?

I've been advised by many people to just take the oath and "get it over with." But one is supposed to take a solemn oath "without any mental reservation or qualification whatsoever." It would certainly be an easier decision if I didn't know what "the law" means by the oath, or what "the government" has done to those who are known to be Christians. I could just pretend that we lived in the days of Ozzie and Harriet, when those who hated Christianity were confined to the closet.

But I know too much.

I believe I have an obligation to make my loyalty to Christ known. My silence would be a presumption that I do not believe the way my Puritan and Reformed forefathers believed, and that I do not hold to a Theocratic understanding of God's Law. I cannot hide my convictions just to make it easier. I've decided to fight it. My suit in Federal Court seeks to re-establish the right of Christians to take explicitly Trinitarian oaths which place their loyalty to Christ above their willingness to obey a secular State. I hope to be the first of many people who will swear their support not for the Constitution, but for the Law of God. Perhaps in the future we might be able to choose between a "nice guy" candidate who goes through the formality of taking a meaningless "deistic" oath to support the Constitution, and a serious candidate who swears his support for God's Law-Word, the Bible. I know which one I would be more likely to vote for.

The Puritans endured great struggles for religious freedom and the cause of Christ the King. Christians in the 1990's must do the same.

I would appreciate your prayers and your comments.

I'm from Indiana too. For the entire Memorial Day weekend, we had two deputy sheriffs standing at an intersection checking for seatbelts. They didn't stop you if they could see your seatbelt was fastened as you passed by. I thought it was an odd place to put a checkpoint, since we live out in the boonies and there isn't that much traffic that passes by. I feel like we're just being conditioned so that we get used to the idea of checkpoints, etc. Pretty soon they'll be stopping us to make sure we're carrying all our personal ID's (which will probably become mandatory) at all times.

Just up the road from Maryland, this past weekend there were 59 TRAFFIC ARRESTS in Milford,Delaware and 91 TRAFFIC ARRESTS in Bethany Beach, Delaware! In the old days before Bush tried to make himself dictator and the country became a Police State, they used to give you a ticket! WTF is happeneing to America??? We call them roadblocks around here. MADD and Click-it Or Ticket are working together.

I went through one last month and just smiled and nodded at the state boys as they motioned me through.

I was riding my motorcycle without a helmet and just had to laugh. Idiot law makers and their bright ideas.

Does anyone else see the irony in that?

peace

PS. I don't need to hear about how I'm gonna die in a crash without a helmet. I'll wear one in town because the idiots around here like to smash into motorcycles in busy areas. If your riding at highway speeds on state roads a helmet just makes it easier for the EMTs to gather your brains up anyway.

Yeah, fuckwit, it gives the words personal freedom a whole new meaning.

The goddamned government wants to regulate every action of your daily life. Get a fucking clue. This is how they creep in, by pretending to give a shit about you.

For instance
They are all for protecting life - until it's born, then they send you to die for their greed and lust for power.

This seatbelt farce is just another way to intrude and snoop upon people who are doing nothing wrong, an opportunity for them to cock up something against you.

Now we are experiencing the results of the goddamned governments 'care'. They creep into our cars, our homes, our schools, our churches, our jobs, our medical records, our financial records, our phone calls, our e-mails, our regular mail,....

Where the FUCK does it end??????

the seeps have been happening all over

even 7 months back they coordinated a massive sweep of 20000 folks arrested...they are doing alot of these throughout different states-they are also scanning plates when they have the readers for back taxes and warrants.

I was never arrested until I became a gandmother...then they kept it up for a while-a lot of bogus scams going on

while murderers and perps roam they search for seatbelt violators-

generating revenue is easy actually doing investigative work is too hard when you are dense and donut laden

Eve4r noticed how they stalk you if you do not support their fraternal org group-donut costs increase dramatically-they are in a pinch

Do not go into Columbine high they might get shot but stopping the anti seat belt hippies is good business and tasering grandmas and kids is alot of sport-those seniors and their canes and ear battery packs can be hellcats-according to all the taser happy cowards

There are some good ones but I am not holding my breath

These words rang so true I think that they should be repeated .....

Re: This was the first for me in my neck of the woods
Something strange happened to me a few years ago that made me question exactly who the police are working for in this country. I had a bit of extra money sitting around right about the time my motorcycle insurance payment arrived in the mail, (4 payments a year...I think this would have been my second payment for that year) I decided I would send in more money than the quarterly invoice total...to kick my next payments for the year down a little bit when they sent the next bill/invoice. Apparently the insurance company thought I wasn't interested in the rest of my year of full coverage, and considered the extra money I sent as a few extra weeks of payment/coverage and then they cancelled out my policy without informing me. (I take the blame for not explaining why I was sending them more money than they were asking for, I should have made my intentions clear.)

This cancellation came on a Friday night at midnight...7 hours later at 7am Saturday morning I had 2 officers from my friendly local county police department banging on my front door very anxious to arrest me...handcuffs, watch your head as you're getting forced into the back seat, and everything. Luckily I wasn't home at the time, but received a phone call at my girlfriend's house a few minutes after they had left my house empty handed. I had her drive me down to the police station at about 7:15am. To make a long story short, the office cops cut me some slack for "turning myself in" but pressured me relentlessly to fork over a $400+ "un-insured(sp?) motorist fee" or they would lock me up. After telling them about my mistake of sending in EXTRA money for my policy (about 50 times...I also swore up and down that I would get to the bottom of this situation immediately [I had to get a whole new policy later that morning...no I wasn't amused]) they let me go.

How in the world do the cops get insurance info on people that fast? Less than seven hours and they were ready to lock ol' c.f. up. Seems strange for something like that to have them banging on "decent" citizen's doors so quickly.

Re: This was the first for me in my neck of the woods
This happened to members of my family on Memorial Day. They were stopped in a traffic jam outside of Ft. Stockton, Texas for almost 2 hours.

The police said they were looking for an escaped convict, but there is no record of this in the Ft. Stockton paper.

When they talked to my family members, they asked how old their children were.

Very strange!
