ISON - What`s the LATEST?

So been following Ison like many others but these last few days have been confusing!

First we had ISON declared dead by NASA,
Then it made a comeback and was declared Alive,
Then It was declared Dead again by Dr Astro and others,
Then it was declared alive and a picture if a finger with a dot above it was posted.

I now see that the thousands of Ison threads are gone and its almost as if its normal service and Ison has been cast to the history books.

So what is the latest on Ison? Is it dead, Alive, in bits, or applied a cloaking devise!
