Good point: What is their excuse for sending the POTUS to an enemy nation? Some sort of deal-brokering at the "highest" level?

They bombed a harbor during wartime, we responded by killing many thousands of their innocent civilians using atomic weaponry. It's hard to defend our actions there.

As much as that poster was incorrect, the point he was trying to get across was that most americans have no idea of the horrors of war, our civilians are comfortable with iPhones and cable tv and big macs and all that bullshit - and also comfortable with our troops going overseas starting bullshit wars in other countries.

Never forget that our troops have killed many more innocent civilians overseas in the name of our 'freedom' than any terrorist organization has killed on our soil. I sincerely hope there is a special place in hell for people content with that statistic.
