Why did they stage the 1969 moon landing in an underground Hollywood studio.. | |

It was filmed in the studio to supplement real footage because of the technical difficulties in the harsh outer space environment and because the propaganda misters wanted everything to look good even in the event of a major fuckup. |

CCD camera resolution wasn't very good when Clementine was launched. Maybe the Chinese will photograph the Apollo sites with a modern satellite and tell us the truth once and for all. I hope so. |

| REALITY User ID: 100519 05/31/2006 06:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Land based telescopes don't have the power to detect small objects on the moon. Its pretty far and the objects are small. Even so, its not that hard to get something to the moon via unmanned missions. Wikipedia claims that the astronauts didn't spend much time inside the belts and the flight mission was planned to encounter the belts as little as possible. I'm not sure I buy this claim though. Were talking vast distances even if the module was moving fast. I've been to the smithsonian in DC and looked at the landing module and I think a life sized replica of sky lab. Whatever the case is, those men were super brave to go flying about space in such a tiny, underprotected craft. Its mindboggling really. The biggest evidence in my mind is the van allen belt and it baffles me to this day why we all of a sudden dropped the ball on other manned missions outside the belt like mars. As for the stars in the pictures and video, well, ive never encountered an atmosphereless planet but I do think they should be visible unless a flash were used (which I don't think they did). Some would say that it was daytime on the moon so therefore, no stars. You can see the moon in daytime sometimes. Its the atmosphere that prevents us from seeing stars during the daytime. |

It was slated to be sent into space atop a Saturn V but was canceled to save money. That exhibit cost a billion dollars, no shit! The Skylab, ISS, and Mir space station orbits are outside (inside) the Van Allen belt. I tend to think the Apollo missions to the moon were real. Russian telescopes would have photographed them in earth orbit and exposed the fraud if NASA had tried to pull off such a scam. I think the USSR would have relished exposing such a fraud, but it's also possible that the Cold War was a scam and that the USSR was always a secret partner instead of an enemy. Time will reveal the truth about the Apollo program, probably soon. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 87459 05/31/2006 06:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My guess is that the Russians would not dare to expose the fraudulent US lunar landings for fear of the Americans retaliating by exposing Russian secrets. For example, many believe Gagarin never went into orbit but was a stand-in for the real one who met with some mishap during the first manned orbital flight. |

To escape Bond makes off with the lunar buggy into the desert. film and cameras would not work on the moon, too much radiation. America was built on lies.... |

The British/Synarchy became alarmed at the amount of optimism and national pride the space/moon program instilled in the US populace .... a big big no no. Poetic that a Bond film would carry the hoax. People thinking that the moon landing was all fiction??? .... seems you a have a long way to go before you realise what dis-info is. |

NASA is far, far off from doing that yet. Where there is uncertainty and doubt there will always be conspiracy theory detractors. To Transform is to Grow into something new and unknown, seeking to complete the process begun. |

The one thing ALL Apollo Hoax believers have in common is that they don't understand the science. I challenge you to come up with a FEASIBLE scheme to accurately fake Apollo. It can not be done. "The recent Fox TV show, which I saw, is an ingenious and entertaining assemblage of nonsense. The claim that radiation exposure during the Apollo missions would have been fatal to the astronauts is only one example of such nonsense." - Dr. James Van Allen Hatred is a cancer upon the world.
