It was in the same orbit, and it said it would be in the same place, in late Dec.2013 and Jan. 2014. Earth is definitely shown in the same position as this guy reported. Of course NASA would not tell a lie and then hide it would they? |

When ISON fragmented on its close approach to the Sun, the momentum changed. Also, there is no way at this point to quantify accurately the size of the "dust" in the debris field. Yes, it might just be regular dust, or this "dust" might actually be comprised of many small yet dangerous fragments. We will know shortly. |
