You can't really understand this without understanding how the fiat money is devalued. A 1913 US dollar had the buying power of $500 dollars today.

Bottom line is that the only way to buy more time in a financial mess is to hyper-inflate.

The lack of logical thinking here is staggering. What you get paid is the result of the skills & qualities you bring to the table. Your employer pays you what they consider your market value to be. While a Mcdonald's employee may be busy shuffling to and from the soda dispenser all day, literally every human being on the planet age 10 and older could do that job. Supply exceeds demand. Lower wages. As you gain more skills that others don't have, your worth goes up to your employer because there are less people out there that can do your job. Your employer increases your wage.

This isn't that hard. The people protesting should work on gaining skills instead of looking for gibbsmah. Any adult who's worked min.wage for more than 2 years only has themself to blame. Hard work or acquisition of skills would have gotten them promoted out of the bottom.

Without the McAssholes to flip burgers, there would not be any FatAssholes like yourself to eat their artery clogging masterpieces. So in a sense eliminating the McAssholes, would actually help you (the FatAssholes). So i guess this is a good thing kind of like the elimination of Trans Fat. Hmmm, not a bad proposition. The corporation will still want the same percentage of profit so the prices go up--people will bitch in other jobs and their wages are raised accordingly-and the price of the goods in their field go up---the truckers decide they need a raise now too- all prices go up. And now the Mcdonalds worker makes 15 an hour and his happy meal is 10. But Mcdonalds didn't lose anything.......................... Its ALL BS

Far higher demand for low-skill labor. Do people think that we can all have post-secondary education and get a job that uses it? That simply is not reality... reality is that we do not need many executives in order to function properly. We have great need for manual labor of various kinds.

So why SHOULDN'T those who are performing the low-skill jobs be fairly compensated? Their labor is just as necessary as anyone else's. In fact, if they did not freely offer their labor then MANY big businesses of the modern day would not even be able to operate.

If your business model relies upon exploiting large amounts of low-skilled workers then you are a burden to society and should be taxed as such.
