I don't know exactly what, or how but the internet is being sabotaged. By whom? We all have our assumptions, but there has been an elephant in the room for quite some time.

If you haven't already, get on windowless, anonymous proxies or VPN's preferably without logs, and keep safe!

A good friend of mine had his laptop seized and his research, media and work shredded. He's currently an innocent man in cuffs.

how were these proxies filtered for high anonymity ? how do you know they are logless? who owns them?

i run a proxy at work and im well aware of what information i can log and compile on anyone using it.

proxies dont hide anything you are doing other than maybe obscure where you are coming from at the other end, the website.

i wouldn't trust any proxy i didn't build myself.

If they really wanted to know who you were, a proxy wouldn't stop them. However, I would imagine it would at least provide some level of protection with all the automated shit they're putting out.

As for the rest of you, further proofs isn't even needed. We know what the NSA is up to. I wont go on anything conspiracy related without a VPN, has been this way for years.

i wouldnt trust any vpn or proxy service unless i built it myself.

If the NSA wants you, they'll get you. There is no stopping it. However, they do not have time to individually take out all the fish in the pond. So, they have pop up viruses to do the work for them. They obtain your IP, make a list, scan your files and sort you by threat. It's about the numbers.
Any way you can remain anonymous on the surface will help you! Damn it, must I explain everything?

now, related to the thread title there HAVE been some interesting shenanigans on the internet in the last while, certain groups have been doing BGP poisoning attacks to re-route traffic through routers they control and can siphon data directly off with out you knowing.

the only way you would know is if you are trying to get to a website in California and your computer is in Washington, if you do a traceroute, the hops go through Iceland or Belarus first. that is not how BGP is supposed to work but there is a huge vulnerability in that BGP is based on 'trust'.

anyone with a router and an "AS" number can advertise any subnets they want.
