Anybody that thinks wind turbines built today actually lose money and you are an expert because you are quoting some articles about a specific turbine from 5-10 years ago, is Silly! Whatever... If the article is 5 minutes old I don't care! Wind is free and if your turbine takes you 10 years to recoup your costs then you are an idiot and you need to find another wind turbine guy.

A wind turbine is a fan and a generator basically and a couple other things... its not rocket science. Just because a company puts up turbines for $3M a piece doesn't mean the energy source doesn't work or make sense. It just means the govt is dumb enough to waste money on turbines that don't turn a profit. IN SOME CASES!

PS Today's wind turbines that cost $3m can generate ~$500K a year. Upkeep and land fees can run 15-25%.

Every wind turbine for residential use can make its cost back in year or two, or maybe make a DIY and get free power immediately. I don't own any wind power and could care less. But to outlaw wind power due to a stupid bird flying into it is the definition of insane IMO.

So the Eagle is a symbol of free masons is this supposed to mean anything to modern Americans? If the bird was currently endangered my opinion would be different otherwise its called evolution.
