Re: On This Infamous Day - 72 Years Ago In Pearl Harbor...
FDR knew the attack was coming and did not preemptively stop it because he needed the American war machine at full capacity to rev up the economy.
 Quoting: J. Havoc

Yes, so he substituted one evil for an even greater evil. FDR's endless programs as part of the "New Deal" after the stock market crash mired the country into deeper and deeper debt, and the result was an economically crippled nation.
 Quoting: Rising Son

So it's ok to lie and cheat and murder if it's for the "greater good". And who decides what that greater good is, and for who?

The military industrial complex, where you'll only be used as a pawn in a protracted false-flag war.

It's foolish to pledge allegiance to any one country; you might just as well pledge allegiance to Coke, Unilever, Kellogg's etc etc

You've got it all figured out, don't you? The problem is, you were not alive (I'm assuming) during the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, so you wouldn't know what it was like to grow up during the First World War, or the "War to end all wars."

My father was a child born out of the Great Depression, and my grandfather had to cut his father down off of the noose he hung himself with on Black Tuesday. People were at the point of killing themselves because they figured it was over and there was no hope. FDR tried to give this country some hope when it needed some, and while his New Deal may not have been perfect (as if you could have done a better job as a cripple), it kept the country going from a near collapse.

So you can chant your 'false flag' this and your 'military industrial complex' that, but you didn't live it - so stop trying to retell the story to fit your perception of it...
"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood.

How about sticking to facts and not romanticizing a terrible war and forgetting how we as a nation were manipulated into protecting european colonial power.

I wasn't alive then though I didn't miss it by much. I grew up around folks who went through it. I am not saying that the people who fought and died or worked to produce the materials needed weren't heroic, but the powers behind that war certainly weren't.

With my 20 20 historical vision what I see really sucked and was payed for with the blood of everyday people. People who were fighting for a false cause. It is still happening today. If we refuse to look with open eyes at what happened then it makes it all the harder to see the lies we are subject to today.
