i wouldn't say that. when i first got saved i got caught up in a humble church that grew really fast into a mega pentacostal church. when they started the speaking in tongues trip and had guests like Cerillo and Myles Monroe come speak, purposefully threw people down in the prayer line so they appeared to be slain in the spirit, i went running outta there so fast my britches could hardly keep up.

Did the light of Christ not physically knock Saul/Paul off the donkey? seen these pastors from a big famous church up close and personal, "prayed" with them, well I didn't, could tell they were jumping up and down and faking it, saw all I needed to My Dad and step mom took me to see Robert Tilton at the Word of Faith church in Dallas. 1980. I was amazed at the place, it was quite good entertainment there. I was blown away as a young person. Tilton turned out to be a fraud and a crook. He was good! I can see how people are taken in. you summed it up succinctly, "entertainment"
