Regardless it is true. I wish it wasn't. And I assure you I haven't been watching too many "Dr Who" episodes or Star Trek episodes. I only heard of this "Dr Who" from jokes people told me. "Dr who" doesn't not exist in my universe. Star Trek is more or less the same with an additional series set to start in 2014.

You should give more examples of the differences you have noticed here, that would be interesting even if you are not being truthful about your origin.

I have been in this universe for about 6 days now. The shifts seem to be random, but about every 10-15 days or so if I had to guess. (It is a bit disorienting and it can be hard to tell the difference between universes) This universe is similar to the one I am from, but I have noticed some differences. In this universe the internet seems to be less advanced for one. I've noticed the politics in this universe are far more divided than in my universe. In my America there seem to be less problems for one, with lower unemployment and debt that is not nearly as bad. As a world, the biggest difference I noticed was the Soviet Union did not fall until about late in the twentieth century. (1991 was it?) In my version of WW2, Germany inflicted even heavier damage on the U.S.S.R. than in this one. Moscow fell for one, and the war in Europe did not end until 1946 as Germany fell. Japan was defeated later in the year, but the atomic bomb was not used.

If Dr. who doesn't exist, does that mean the United Kingdom doesn't exist? Did the USA not get involved in WW2? Did WW2 even happen? If so, did the UK get annexed by Germany?

London did not fall and the UK exists. However, London did take heavier damage it appears than is this universe. America did not become involved in WW2 until 1943 as Germany convinced Japan not to attack Pearl Harbor at the time. Russia and Germany did have their alliance, but the Germans surprise attack on Russia was more successful in my universe. Likewise the UK did take heavier damage. The actor who played Dr. Who may have never existed.

I've noticed references to a "Sandy Hook" incident. In my universe this tragedy did not happen.

Ok, now I am kinda buying it. The "actor" who played Dr. Who? Someone from an America of another reality would not be familiar with there being many actors playing Dr. Who...ok maybe a lot of Americans in this reality too.

Ok, what about the last 5 presidents? Also, what year is it in your reality? Are the time streams moving at the same pace?

Did you do something lower frequency that would have booted you here?

Has alien contact and disclosure been made in your reality? Did the 9/11 attacks take place on the World Trade Center and Pentagon? Is the US dollar backed by gold still?

When I shifted it was the same date so I imagine they travel at the same pace. What I meant about the "actor" was the first actor who played in the show in this universe did not exist, and I suppose the show did not exist either. Obama is the president in my universe, then Gore, then Clinton, then Bush Sr. and Reagan, so the same. Bush Junior as you know him was defeated in Florida and lost the election. We invaded Afghanistan, but pulled out by 2005. Iraq was never invaded. Apologies if my knowledge of your history is a bit off, I have had only a few days to learn.

Not to jump on the bandwagon, but I myself have done this. Nothing as clear or interesting as the OP, but I'm from a different world, where different things happened.

For instance, Lindsey Lohan wasn't a total waste of space at all and had a thriving career as an adult.

Al Gore won the Presidential election, and... politically things stayed about the same, regardless.

Nelson Mandela died in the early 2000's.

So did Leonard Nemoy.

Unfortunately through my travels I have heard of him, as I've been teased I am like him or something. In my universe I had never heard of him but most of the ones I visited seemed to expose him as a hoax without doubt. This universe seems interesting because nothing seems to have been definitely prove, from the little I know. BTW above I meant universe not century. I don't know why I typed that.
