What this name has anything to do with this thread?

If ETs are indeed coming to save us I believe it would be because of these main factors:

Previous stages of man on Earth were not as far degenerated as we are now. Because of this, they were able to save themselves from destruction and continue the progression of human life.

Unfortunately now we are in the darkest stage of mans development on this planet. The righteous and good peoples who aren't dominated by ego lack the ability to save themselves because power has been seized by the foul ones. That power has enabled them to oppress the good peoples and keep them from developing the means to save themselves and continue on. This means only the bad humans will, because they control today's tech, be able to avoid destruction. This is something that cannot be allowed if humans are to further evolve and take the natural course Creation intended. For any new beginning seeded with those types of humans will be doomed to devolve further and this goes against Creations plan.

Added to that, we were interfered with here on Earth by what are commonly known as the "Fallen Angels". This was not supposed to happen and it set our development off course. I believe that would be another reason why ETs are being permitted to interfere and save those worthy of restarting humanity post cataclysm.

Normally I think the ETs would not be permitted to interfere on our behalf. But because of the previous interference in our history coupled with us currently being in our darkest stage of our evolution, an exception has been made for another interference to "right the wrong" so to speak. Also, the Earth simply cannot endure a complete reset of humanity. It has taken billions of years to get to this point alone and a complete reset would mean throwing off way to many cosmic variables.

Of course this is all just a theory based on the idea that ETs are indeed coming to save the good peoples of Earth from the coming cataclysm. If that is not the case this entire theory is moot. But since that is the topic of this thread, I approached it as if that were true and came to a conclusion based on that supposition.
