MOSCOW, December 12, 21:17 /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow is worried by the developments in northern Syria where Islamists have seized arms and amnmunition depots, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday, December 12.

More than ten arms depots belonging to the so-called Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army in different parts of the country, mainly in the north, have been attacked and seized by Islamic Front fighters. They have also seized the headquarters of the Supreme Military Council in Atma. The Council’s head, Brigadier General Idris has left Syria.

The statement is delivered by a man named as Salakhuddin, who is named as the commander of a battalion called Az Zubair — likely from the predominantly Russian-speaking Jaish al-Muhajireen wal Ansar (Army of Immigrants and Helpers), although this is not specified.

Salakhuddin, who speaks Russian with an accent, comments on the influx of Russian-speaking Jihadists to Syria, criticizing them fighters for not staying in the Caucasus and waging Jihad at home.

Addressing the Chechen Jihadi leader Dokka Abu Usman, Salakhuddin frames Jihad as a global fight against the “infidels”, but declares that it is more important for Chechen and Russian-speaking fighters fight the “Russian infidels” at home before traveling abroad.

In July 2013, the leader of the North Caucasus insurgency, the Chechen separatist (what else "separatism" may be in a united Caucasus Emirate?! - KC) Doku Umarov, threatened to disrupt the Olympics, urging his fighters to attack Russia by any means.

Why 400? There are 1700 Chechen rebels fighting in Syria now.
Syrians said they will jail rebels from Russia, and Ramzan Kadyrov will take care of those who manage to come back to Chechnya. At least that's what he said.

Wait...........What? Probably should wait to post until after my first cup of coffee, I have entirely to much blood in my caffeine system right now, but I'll be a potential moran & ask. Am I reading this correctly, are there at least 3 different groups fighting each other over there right now? The "Islamists", the "freedom fighters"(resident extremist religious factions, the criminal invaders doing everything that they can to destabilize the region & topple Assad & his forces, merc's, US forces, Israeli forces & NATO forces) & Assad's Military. Granted, I haven't been following what's going on over there but it sounds closer to everybody fighting everybody else instead of just Assad against the opposition.
