100% Proof Southwest Sky Object is not Venus.

Gods eye?

I was looking yesterday SSW around 4:30pm MST and saw a bright object in the sky. I was surprised because it was still light out, I thought it odd that one star could show so brightly. Checked Stellarium and it might have been Arcturus but at 1 Mag, I doubt it. It was particularly puzzling because it was generally overcast with snow flurries as well. It faded out, I assumed cloud obstruction but now I'm not so sure.

Here in the Northern Rockies, I look at Venus almost every night. It was not Venus, wrong location, too far West and North of the Ecliptic. Its sunny today, I'll take a look this afternoon and see if its visible.

I'm starting to think it's a wormhole since it appears out of nowhere.

my guess is a ufo. could go invisible, could go anywhere anytime it wanted to in a flash.

That is awesome. ..not sure what it is but I was out one evening a few months ago observing it. I took many photos that I even took a random rapid succession of shots and those very moments it appeared into view. It was pretty cool I thought. Now this just confirms that it had appeared suddenly for me.

I will get those photos posted up here in a couple hours.

It only appeared when he zooms the camera in about half way through the clip. His digital Camera can't detect light that far away until he zoomed into it closer. I have a crappy little camera that does the same thing.

I saw it with my own eyes. Everyone else can go out and try it themselves.

I live in Georgia and about amonth ago I observed the same object blink on then off then back on.

Its a jackal guys.

I've seen Venus with my own eyes in the western sky as well.
