We're entering a lawless period in our history. It certainly would be prudent to keep your magazines and guns since for most of the older guns there are no replacements for the mags that came with them.
 Quoting: Mr. Toppit

that's a very good point.. is it unconsitutional then to render the weapon useless?

what about a grandfather law?
It's life as we know it, but only just.

i'm sure the 3 million asian meth dealers are just flocking to police headquarters to turn in their weapons.

nice to know the black gangs can keep their guns in oakland.

this will be just as successful as the "ban on pets" was last year.

the only mags their going to get is old sticky issues of Boys Life.

This is because no ones attends these council meetings. They have these meetings on work days at 1PM when everyone is at work. So the places are virtually empty, so you get no objection from anyone. This has been going on in every Californian city for the past 15-20 years to the point that it's so corrupted it's way to visible.

They pass these new ordinances on a constant basis, even it gets struck down by the court, they make an exemption for themselves. No one punishes these fuckers at all for this kind of bullshit. No one punishes these guys for making illegal laws. You can go to court and most likely win every case, but every Californian city has a clause on the bottom of each of their ordinance where if you win in court, they exempt you from it while everyone else has to follow it.

It's gotten to the point of absurdity that businesses have started to leave. Inspectors, councilmen, all act like Czars of the city, then they disappear when the city goes bankrupt. Businesses, not even big business wants to bother fighting them anymore, they just pack up and leave.

California Governor Jerry Brown may have vetoed a statewide ban on so-called assault rifles, but San Francisco officials have enacted a similar version of the bill locally – and the NRA is fighting back.

The city has a history of pushing the envelope on gun control. A total ban on handguns in 2005 was ultimately overturned by a state court in 2008. Smaller scale gun laws have been passed in the city since the court invalidated the handgun ban.

The new San Francisco high-capacity magazine ban was unanimously approved by the Board of Supervisors, making it illegal to sell guns with magazines with the ability to hold more than 10 rounds. The new San Francisco gun control law also requires that citizens who already own high-capacity magazines turn them in to the police department within 90 days.

What would you guys do? Would you turn them in? Should a LEO do his job? If you were LEO, would you obey what your bosses tell you?

For me, I would tell them to screw themselves. If they force their way into my home to force me to give up my magazines, I would show them how the magazines actually work.
 Quoting: Captain Clownshoes

Well, in the first place, I would NEVER live in Sanfransicko. Secondly, they have to find them first. Thirdly, I rode as 2nd man in the car for a couple years with local PD and Sheriff deputies when I was with the Arizona Rangers...they are all 2nd amendment supporting LEO's who prefer that law abiding citizens are armed. Actually makes their job easier. Very little (zero to none) gun violence where I live...everyone is courteous to everyone else, because you don't know who is carrying!

I posted a while ago on another thread (the one about Frisco demanding folks turn in their magazines) that this state is way up there on the 2nd amendment freedoms, as far as I'm concerned. I rode with local PD and Sheriff deputies as 2nd man in the car for a couple years as a member of the Arizona Rangers, and most LEO's I know are pro-2nd. They like law-abiding people carrying because it makes their job easier. At least in my neck of the woods in the SE corner of the state, people are very cordial to one another...you don't know who's carrying!! Makes for friendly, respectful folks.

Homo Frisco has enough trouble dealing with dudes who walk around nude in public and the disease of AIDS.

If Islamo terrorists in the future absolutely insist on striking America, and can't be convinced to do otherwise, they should at least target their violence on shitty Frisco.

 Quoting: Captain Clownshoes

Id send as many letters to Mr. Jerry Brown, warning him of his violation of the second amendment! We law biding citizens dont care to much for people in the government who like to break our laws. Especially the ones meant to govern over us, and limit their ability, in their never ending over reaching efforts to dwindle our ability to enforce the laws by ourselves if need be.

See i think the problem actually is our government has lost all credibility with the rest of the world, monetarily. But not by accident, which im sure a more thorough investigation would reap quite a windfall of documented criminal activity not only happening , but being covered up on every level. How else do guns and money end up falling into the hands of those who chant death to America , and death to the infidel?

Truth be known, the only criminals are those who think they can make up their own set of rules as they go instead of upholding and enforcing the existing ones. The government is broke and corrupt. The only way to save face with americans is to call anyone doubting them a conspiracy nut job, and that in fact all is well? No need for concern were closely monitoring the situation.

Im old school Italian, and when you borrow more money than you could possibly ever pay back? The boss man sends guido, and guido doesnt care about the money.

Every other super power on the planet right now is expressing dissatisfaction with America's politicians and interference in others countries. Even the droning is out of hand!!! The spending is out of hand!! The lying is out of hand. The tyranny is out of hand. ANd the ones committing it are passing more laws for you to follow nonstop! 40 thousand new laws are not the path to freedom!

And them wanting to infringe upon our last line of defence from them, is an open declaration to each and every one of you, whether you like it or not.
Shall in no way be infringed upon...period!

You dont get my bullets, you dont get my guns, or my clips, or my knifes, or my swords, or my letter opener, or my chopsticks or my cleaning products under the sink, because i might use cleaning products against you!

This shit is beyond stupid already. Why doesnt the government do their job instead of trying to call hell fire down on all of us, for their own criminal behavior with the rest of the world. Ever get the feeling its exactly what they are trying to do? Because they know if our citizenry knew just how criminal they are, their heads would be on the fucking chopping block!?

SO they make their deal for the New World Order that will exempt them from prosecution by the world courts, if they just hand us and everything over to those who want to divide the spoils?

Get real none of us are that fucking stupid.macgunoridin

 Quoting: Captain Clownshoes

If they force their way in you take it in stride and live to fight another day. They don't need a reason to kill you but they do prefer one regardless of how flimsy an excuse it may be. You're not going to do any good for anyone if you are dead before the counter-revolution even begins. There is injustice everywhere and if it visits you personally in the form of a raid to get your guns you're just going to have to give them up if you haven't stashed them well and make arrangements to obtain replacements if yours are taken. It's either that or you go ahead and die in a hail of police gunfire and be portrayed as a lunatic on the nightly news. Of course, you may just be a lunatic. I don't know you so I can't say.

But don't you all see how if they don't limit our bullets then the terrorists win? I mean come on the terrorists are just lurking everywhere to come out and get us unless our government for the people and by the people stops them.

We did vote our leaders in to their positions didn't we? They are just ding the will of their constituents who they are try to protect from the terrorists who want to kill you and your families.

Why do you hate those who only want to protect you from these weapons of death. I mean think of the innocents who have died because of these weapons. Who needs a big gun when we can have laws and good people as leaders to protect us from what we can't protect ourselves and our families from.

I say good riddance to these awful weapons that only hurt and destroy and more power to our government for wanting to ensure our protection even if they have to take away some of our freedoms to do so.

Re: San Francisco Gives Gunowners 90 Days To Turn In Magazines
I hear what you're all saying and i can appreciate your point of view on the matter but don't any of you think that maybe this is a good thing? I am no shill but I can see their point of view also and i fully agree with what they think is right for us.
As we have seen from all these shootings is that we do need the governments help and that they do have our best interests in mind and they do have the right to at least limit our gun use for our protection because we can't govern ourselves based on all these shootings ya know.

If someone is set on killing I don't think the law or the size of the magazine is going to stop them.

Well of course that would be the first thing to do. Absolutely. But if they FORCE their way into MY home, then that is different.

 Quoting: HL Shancken

All it takes is one person to change anothers mind. Thank you for giving me a differnt way of looking at it. I just simply love my weapons and would be very hard to watch them being taken away. I would be devistated. But I do like the way you look at the situation. Maybe they just wont find them in my house. Like you said. Boating accident, years ago, down in the bottom of the river. Yup, down there.
 Quoting: Captain Clownshoes

Revolt is brewing. Until it starts we have to tolerate, tolerate, tolerate, until enough people are of like mind and the rebellion occurs spontaneously. Be vocal as you are but just understand what this environment is that we're in. We are currently undergoing a stealth Communist takeover, and the Communists have control of all the departments and key positions at the federal level, which means that it is more than justified to store arms and make preparations to fight them. But we must be patient and let them bring the fight to us. We must let them go so far in abusing us that we gain a critical mass among the population in order to have real and effective support when the violence starts. It is unwise to try to form any type of organized resistance since any groups that gain traction and members will also gain informants. Just learn the history of the Communist Revolution which began in Russia and get others to do the same. If you don't know your enemy you will not be successful.
 Quoting: HL Shancken

WISDOM RIGHT HERE Y'ALL. We need more silently dedicated patriots ready for when the moment comes to be minutemen, and less rednecks talking about killing people over political differences. Don't get yourself locked up, and don't go out doing anything stupid trying to fight the government.

Just for those who don't know
what they are really up against....

you don't realize yet who those are that you are referencing as Jews do you... if you did you'd stop referring to them as such as it only pleases them to keep you in the dark thusly

the rich bankster types and blooline so called jews are not jewish by any means but merely posing as such

and have been since before Christ was on the earth, they've been here since the time spent in the Garden of Eden

they are lucifers blood offspring with Eve, which makes them half caucasian/adamic and half cherebum, which is the supernatural lucifer

they are hybrids, not humans per se

known as the tares within the word

as well as the Kenites, the sons of Cain

as for the downplayed part thrust upon women within this fallen estate, such is due to lucifers unparalleled envy of the divine feminine, his hatred for her brought about his rebellion and to this day he has spent his time defiling women via twisted biblical scriptures and mistranslations accordingly, and further why he sought to bring Eve down, when Adam also partook of lucifer in kind right along with Eve, as they were both "wholly seduced" in the garden

such includes all the poor translations of "help meet" biblically speaking, which has in no wise been properly referenced accordingly

it in truth means something more along the lines of "equal, deliverer, salvation/savior

""Thus, it seems that through imprecise translation, our understanding of the powerful words used originally to describe Eve’s role have been diminished. As a result, our understanding or Mother Eve has also been diminished. Suppose we had all, male and female alike, been taught to understand Genesis 2:18 as something like the following, “It is not good that man should be alone. I will make him a companion of strength and power who has a saving power and is equal with him.”"

the very idea that women should not function as priests is ludicrous and laughable

they in truth hold the power of creation within them, even in this woebegotten estate herebelow

I pity the men who have enjoyed such debauchery for the time is coming wherein the records will be set aright in all regard

why else would satan be so wroth, because he knows his time is short...

and with him will all his lies also go down, put down and laid to rest forevermore

with the dawn of that new day and the coming of the Millennium close at hand

What THEY fear the most is the LONE GUNMAN. Mano a Mano battle of Stalingrad (Ed Harris vs. Jude Law) 308s at about 1000 yds.

Learn and train to be the "Trible H".

Heavily Armed
Highly Mobile
Extremely Hostile

So what's a matter with you apes? You want to live forever?!
