Just yesterday in Toronto, the cities politicians approved the building of a "gay themed" rec center. half the cost will be provided by an anonymous donation, however, the rest will be covered by the tax payer at all levels, municipally, provincially and federally.

There is a lot of opinion about this topic, but as relevant to this thread...

There has been no issues raised by any "gay" athletes in the area as to them being blocked from having their gay only sports teams, leagues etc. participating at any other rec center in Toronto. So what's the point of this intended segregation?

So now everyone will have to foot the bill for this gay rec center.... This is how gays impact non-gays at least in this instance.

For the record only to members of Toronto's city council voted against this....

1 of them was Rob Ford.... I am sure many Americans know that name now.

I'm 55 and since I was a teenager I always looked at gay dudes like "more chicks for me!!!" Really simple math here.
