Drug Testing For Employment

They do test for booze...
Every test in AB Canada for employment I've ever done ur met with a breathalyzer than a cup...

Many places do...no employer wants an alcoholic or a drug addict working for them.

They do, especially if an accident is involved and if you're found with alcohol in your system you will find yourself without a job.

Yup which reminds me gotta get in touch with company to get a new one. On xmas break.

I don't think any company should be allowed to drug test you unless they have suspicion that you are using. I do, however, believe that all US congress should be drug tested immediately.

When you are working on an industrial site with a thousand other people, it's good to know you aren't going to get injured because some idiot smoked/shot up during their break.

It's a condition of employment that I gladly participate in.

why is this necessary if potheads are too idle to keep a job anyway...

Potheads make awesome workers. They won't quit their job for being unhappy and work would be more fun while high so getting things done wouldn't be a chore.

Maybe you should try it. You wouldn't be as unhappy, and maybe you could lay off the bottle a bit and get your life straightened out

Illegal to random test in Canada now. Supreme court ruled it unconstitutional. Testing can only be done if one is suspected of being impaired on the job, or a union agreement allows random testing.
