Only a person who has not received the love of the Truth so as to be saved would make such an ignorant statement. Phil doesn't hide behind anything. He believes God, and he lets his nay be nay and his yay be yah. And he hasn't insulted anyone. He merely quoted the Bible, and he factually stated that the male sex organ does not fit the male sex organ---- The entire issue is that Phil stands with Jesus and the Cross.... God has given him front and center stage at this moment for a lost and dying world. He very clearly explains that Jesus is the Saviour who came and died for his sin, your sin and my sin...that we ALL are sinners....he stresses that he is chief of sinners, just as the apostle Paul did. He is speaking out of love, so that some may be saved. |

He did not insult blacks...he didn't insult anyone. I also grew up in West Monroe during the pre civil rights era, and he is right. Blacks didn't hate whites then. The intense hatred has been stirred and fomented by Obama in the past five years. But in the 50s, blacks did not hate whites...that has been instigated. He 's right....they were singing and happy and carefree. They didn't go around wanting to kill, rape, and mug people then. We grew up with our doors all unlocked, and cars unlocked...you cannot do that now. People who accuse him of racism have no clue what they are talking about. If you didn't live there among the blacks, then you are not qualified to jump in and call Phil Robertson a racist, when he has done more to feed and help blacks than you ever imagined doing. |
