DNC getting nervous about the mid-terms?
"The Democratic National Committee (DNC) sent out a paranoid email Saturday evening urging supporters to vote for Democrats so that Republicans can’t impeach President Obama."

[link to dailycaller.com]

“Show these Republicans that they are way, way off-base, and give President Obama a Congress that has his back,” according to the DNC email, noting that Democrats need to win 17 GOP House seats to reclaim a majority.

Kind of makes me think impeachment may actually become a possibility, not that it would matter, but it would be a hell of a show!

Exactly...Neither the DNC or the RNC is nervous a bit since the next 2 to 3 elections at least are already scripted out.

Its just a waste of time and energy for the sheeple to worry about it. And yet they do.

Those Gun Grabbers will be Remembered, and the voters will be Reminded. Each and every one of us must spread the word and gather support to oppose any gun grabbing candidate.

Watch your districts and states, primaries and general elections. Do not let you guard down.

Remember CT & CA - The line must be held.

Bloomberg is trying to reinfiltrate CO by backing a Democratic Gun Grabbing Washington Crony Mike Merrifield to replace Morse's recall seat.

Who are the Democratic gun-grabbers in the US Senate? Let’s find out!

■Senator Amy Klobuchar (D) is from Minnesota, which is a Shall-Issue state. Is Senator Klobuchar really comfortable with putting nursing students in jail for owning guns and taking them to NYC? Does that mean that she will continue to let gun-grabbers keep this bill in the Judiciary Committee?
■Senator Herb Kohl (D) is from Wisconsin, which has just become a Shall-Issue state; and, judging from the number of applications for CCW, it was a popular decision. Is Senator Kohl really comfortable with repressing civil liberties by not voting to move the Senate bill out of committee? And does he really want to make this an election year issue for the Democratic candidate that will be running for his seat?
■Senator Jim Webb (D) is from Virginia, which is a Shall-Issue state. Is he really going to retire from the Senate without having the courage to face this issue? Note that this question can also be asked of Senators Kent Conrad (D) of North Dakota, Jeff Bingaman (D) of New Mexico, and Ben Nelson (D) of Nebraska.
■Senator Bill Nelson (D) is from Florida, which is a Shall-Issue state. Is he putting pressure on Kohl and Klobuchar to repair this assault on the Bill of Rights? If he isn’t, why isn’t he?
■Senator Debbie Stabenow (D) is from Michigan, which is a Shall-Issue state. What is she doing to redress this outrage? Does she even care?
■Senator Claire McCaskill (D) is from Missouri, which is a Shall-Issue state. Does she agree with the policies of that state on gun liberty? Or does she just want to duck the subject?
■Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D) may be from New York, which is obviously not a Shall-Issue state – but she’s from the upstate portion of it, which has a somewhat different take on the subject than does NYC. Is she putting pressure on fellow New Yorker Chuck Schumer to get this bill out of Judiciary and on the floor? If not, can we safely assume that New York City has two Senators and New York State has none?
■Senator Sherrod Brown (D) is from Ohio, which is a Shall-Issue state; and I believe that you’re getting the point by now.
■Senator Bob Casey (D) is from Pennsylvania, which is a Shall-Issue state.
■Senator Maria Cantwell (D) is from Washington, which is a Shall-Issue state.
■Senator Joe Manchin (D) is from West Virginia, which is a Shall-Issue state… and let’s drill down on this last one. Does any of this… bother… Manchin?

 Quoting: Aircooled

All impeachment can do is charge a president with crimes committed while in office. It does not remove him from office.

Bill Clinton was impeached for instance.

Here is what Wikipedia says:

Impeachment in the United States is an expressed power of the legislature that allows for formal charges against a civil officer of government for crimes committed in office. The actual trial on those charges, and subsequent removal of an official on conviction on those charges, is separate from the act of impeachment itself.

Impeachment is analogous to indictment in regular court proceedings, while trial by the other house is analogous to the trial before judge and jury in regular courts. Typically, the lower house of the legislature will impeach the official and the upper house will conduct the trial.

So the House might impeach (charge Obama with crimes) but the Senate would have to try him and find him guilty to enact any punishment.

Clinton was impeached, but stayed in office, you will remember.

Obama needs to be found an imposter, unqualified to hold the office and his executive orders and legislation thus nullified, and he needs to be removed from office.

Depends what you paid. Sig is a very solid manufacturer, they only make a few junk firearms like the P250 line. The M400 is a good piece of hardware.

If you decide to expand your collection and want to stay below the radar, take a look at some good upper assemblies (no FFL required) and an 80% lower. The stripped lower receiver is the only part that requires registration, and 80% completed lowers are not considered firearms. From there, if you have any tool skills you can easily finish the project and you are gtg.

Happy to have you in the club!

Please find someone who can teach you the four rules and how to operate that weapon. It's not easy.

There are websites where you can connect with other gun owners or go to your local gun store and ask who in your area does classes.

I was thinking about you when I purchased my Sig Saur M400 on Friday. I was like I wish that dude was here I have no clue what I am doing.

Happy to have you in the club!

Please find someone who can teach you the four rules and how to operate that weapon. It's not easy.

There are websites where you can connect with other gun owners or go to your local gun store and ask who in your area does classes.

I had to take a firearm safety course so I am up to speed on the four rules. I will definitely have one of the guys at the range help me out when I first go to use it.
