Top Prophecy preachers.
What preachers/pastors do you feel are the top prophecy preachers?

I'm not asking if you believe what they say or not just wondering who you feel the people listen to the most.

I thought of Pat guy from the 700 club and John Hagy.

Who is the one man who is always on with his wife? giving prophecy the whole time...

Who else?

I would really appreciate help with this as it is for a project.

Thanks in advance~

Re: Top Prophecy preachers.
A real prophet ?

I'll tell you a real prophet of JESUS CHRIST.

But you best not hinder his work....cause he's the real deal.
Whole cities have been destroyed for hindering his work....and i'm not saying this lightly. The man was in florida 2 weeks before hurricane andrew hit and the cops tried to shut his tent revival down. He told the copes he would leave but that this place would have nothing but tents in the coming weeks. Hurricane andrew came and they had over 10,000 tents set up. He's not a joke.
He was imprisoned falsely for over a year on tax evasion (but it was false) and a man hindered him witnessing to a fellow inmate in coming to Jesus Christ.

The prophet pleaded with the man not to interfere with God's work in a man's life, but the mocker proceeded anyway. Well a bolt of lightning came out of the clear blue sky and split the man in half from his head all the way to his genitals.....20 other people were also seriously hurt but the prophet and the man he was witnessing to were spared and the man went on to come to Jesus in a powerful way. The wicked mocker was deader than a doornail and his chest cavity was completely split open and seared by the lightning bolt.

I tell you this not to sensationalize this....but that it is a serious thing to touch God's true anointed prophets.

The real deal people aren't in it for the money but to do God's work

Sadly, many are in for the $profit$.

This man is David Terrell of David Terrell World Wide revivals in Texas.

If you chose to mock this man or hinder his work in any way, you do so at your own perill.......he's the real deal

Re: Top Prophecy preachers.
One of the most listened to is Hal Lindsey who wrote "The Late Great Planet Earth". He was somewhat of a precurser to Lehaye and his Left Behind series of books. Perhaps the most listened to currently is Rick Warren who wrote "The Purpose Driven LIfe", and more recently, "The Purpose Driven Church". These two books are having a profound effect on today's church (all branches), but they are not considered "prophecy" except in the biblical definition of prophecy which deals with the everyday operation of the church as opposed to "future events". There is prophecy in there, but of a more practical kind. The other "prophets" are a bit more dramatic and use fear of future events to move people.

If you can get beyond bias, the 3ABN network of the Seventh Day Adventists are deeply into prophecy--especially prophecy that deals with the US and its role in last day events. They have been preaching these prophecies for about 150 years and they are remarkably coming to pass--especially the current trend of the US toward intolerance of "extremism" of any kind. While they have joined the "mainstream" of Christianity, they are considered by themselves to be a "peculiar" people in that they have a message that will only be appropriate in the very last day during the sounding of the Seventh
Angel. Of course, that time is now and they are gearing up for the final events. Therefore, the lesser known Ellen G. White would also be considered a prophet though she never considered herself as prophet, but she felt that her role went beyond prophet to one of "Messenger". She wrote somewhere in the vicinity of 66 books--most of them prophetic writings.

Oral Roberts, of course, was considered a prophet and a healer. Herbert W. Armstrong was a self-proclaimed prophet. I particularly enjoyed listening to him, primarily because he was a character!! He would crack me up because he was a man in his 80's (I believe) and said exactly what was on his mind. He would crack me up. I believe the man and his wife you were trying to remember was Jack Van Impe. His specialty is prophecy as well. There are others of course, but these are a few.

Re: Top Prophecy preachers.
God gives us this warning
even if a "prophet" can predict the future, or interpret bible prophecy
IF
he leads you away from the only true God, our Creator Yahweh
they are not to be followed

most of these so called prophets (really profits) are part of the 501c3 apostasy which gives the IRS the headship of the church
Jesus is not allowed to head a 501c3 church

so, don't follow these men
