Anonymous Coward User ID: 45655117 United States 12/30/2013 06:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Generic steps: Open up Sound Recorder (should be a program that comes with Windows) Make sure that your recording source is set to Microphone. Start recording. Place your face right next to and talk directly into the various pieces of hardware, saying the name of it out loud, for example, "External Sound Card", "Monitor", "Computer", "Keyboard", etc. Stop recording. Play back your recording and listen for whichever is the loudest, that's where the mic is. |

I am no longer freaked out. I am going to go eat my supper. Take a nice hot shower and read a good book. After I turn off the mics. Here is what the description says. " Sound Blaster Omni Surround 5.1 features two built-in microphones, which enable the optimal performance of far-field voice input without a headset microphone. These microphones are designed to focus on the user's voice and reduce noise outside that signal.
