I was raised catholic, now agnostic.

For once, that is the closest to an actual answer about faith based questions i ever had. What is the mark of the beast? Its this and heres why. It does makes sense, in the eye of a Christian of course. But then again, Islam is being painted as the enemy of Christianity, so its hard not to take take into account when given such an explanation. The waiting game continues.

If all this Judgment Day thingy comes to past in my lifetime, i'll gladly kneel with a grin on my face when they cut off my head knowing that, in the end, making up my own damn mind didnt turn out to be a bad choice either. Something to be proud of.

Except that you will absolutely need to have a STRONG, STRONG love of Jesus Christ in order to be able to turn down the mark.

Sounds to me like TPTB are up to their old tricks once again trying to drive a wedge between people and keep them fighting, while they reap more profits. Just more war mongering if you asked me.

I watched the video, although I felt asleep far 30 odd minutes. I found it quite interesting even though I was snoring for a bit.
What I take out of it is that it might be the mark of the beast although all the repetition, Islam evil, Islam evil, Islam evil put me to sleep.

I guess what I want to say is that just because you have not accepted the mark it does not guarantee your salvation.

I'm sure he'll will be full of Christian or any other denomination fundamentalist.

The point being made by ac5253 is just how hard it will be to stay strong like that when someone is holding a KNIFE to your throat and threatening to BEHEAD you alive if you don't swear allegiance to Allah. Pretty hard to DIE for nothing. Easier to die knowing Jesus is your Lord and will be there waiting for you if you give your life for Him, like He did for you!

I remember it vividly. Centanni is one of my favorite newscasters, he reminds me of a kindly uncle I had growing up.....

Anyway, he recounted his story after his release, how his captors TOLD him to convert to Islam......I don't remember if they actually threatened him with bodily harm, but I'm sure he feared for his life.

He did it. He is NOT a practicing muslim at this time, I'm sure, but did it to get out alive. THAT's what I think they will do to non-muslims, and those who DENY CHRIST IS LORD will NOT see the kingdom of heaven. Just as Jesus said...."If you deny me, I will deny you...."
