On Monday, June 19, about 4,000 government workers representing more than 50 federal agencies from the State Department to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission will say goodbye to their families and set off for dozens of classified emergency facilities stretching from the Maryland and Virginia suburbs to the foothills of the Alleghenies. They will take to the bunkers in an "evacuation" that my sources describe as the largest "continuity of government" exercise ever conducted, a drill intended to prepare the U.S. government for an event even more catastrophic than the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

I do not think the U.S will "invade" Iran, certainly not with a lot of ground troops. The only action we MIGHT take is a precision laser-guided bombing of their nuclear facilities. More likely, it will be an Israeli operation, with U.S. assistance.

If our Government nukes Iran and Iran strikes the US back the only people that get hurt as always are the civilians, women, children, elderly and what the Government considers "useless eaters". Our Government will hide and keep safe while the rest of us burn to death from depleted uranium (just like it was done on the Iraqi civilians, so we are reaping what was sowed). I do believe there would be a revolution from the US citizens if BushCo tries to Nuke Iran. The Iraq saga was enough to make us question their decisions and actions. Hyping it up will only aggravate tensions until somebody snaps and makes a very bad choice in which everyone would have to pay the consequences. There shalt be no more war!

Just one example of how TPTB are protecting themselves.
