Re: Notre Dame Professor on Obamacare
I ended up signing up for Obamacare, it is around 73 dollars a month for a silver plan for myself. I figure since I see a doctor monthly and have prescription drugs prescribed monthly, it is better to take this then to have the one percent of my income penalty for this tax return year, and it rising I believe to 3 percent? Next year.

So I just went ahead and enroll it's a pretty good plan, yes I am all for it being repealed and shut down with this new Supreme Court case arguing that it came from the Senate. The only problem with this is that they said this would be deficit neutral allowing it to originate in the Senate. They would have to prove that this is not deficit neutral, the Congressional Budget Office needs to get on the ball with this.

So nice for you! I used to pay $720 per month for a family of four with a $20 copay for doctor visits and reasonable deductibles for hospitalization, etc. Now I pay $1400 per month for a plan with higher copays and out of pocket expenses, all due to the ACA.

This is what redistribution of wealth is all about. You're taking money from my family to pay for your healthcare. From your point of view, it's great. From my point of view, it's theft and I could not be more angry about it.

Re: Notre Dame Professor on Obamacare
BUT WHO IS TO BLAME HERE???
Obama? No
Congress? No
So who is to blame?
YOU ARE. FOR ALLOWING HIM TO DO IT.
If you don't want it then say no. Stand up and say no.
But in reality, all you do is moan but still allow your chosen governments do what they like.
You put them there and it is your responsibility to get them out of there.

If a spoilt child is in store with you and wants a candy, its up to you to say no. If the child says I am taking it anyway and takes one off the shelf, its up to you to say no and tell the child to put it back.
Child will kick, yell and cry at first, because he is used to having what he wants (cos you allowed him to do what he wanted before).
Child is not to blame. YOU ARE

Obama is not to blame.YOU ARE

Unless you all learn to stand up and say a firm no, and mean it. Nothing will change.

The unveiling of the dictatorial debacle that is Obamacare absolutely flabbergasts me. It is stunning on so many levels, but the most shocking aspect of it for me is watching millions of free Americans stand idly by while this man, his minions in Congress and his cheerleaders in the press systematically dismantle our Constitution, steal our money, and crush our freedoms.

The President, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid (with no small help from Justice John Roberts) take away our health care, and we allow it. They take away our insurance, and we allow it. They take away our doctors, and we allow it. They charge us thousands of dollars more a year, and we allow it. They make legal products illegal, and we allow it. They cripple our businesses, and we allow it. They announce by fiat that we must ignore our most deeply held beliefs – and we allow it.
Where is your spine, America?

good article, all stuff we know but written so clearly that even the dumbest obamist may have a chance to understand.

This is what obongocare is about link [link to webcache.googleusercontent.com]

ObamaCare was passed in the name of equalizing health care. Yet it was Congress and its staffers who got special dispensation to keep a generous health subsidy—when no other Americans did. It was powerful corporate America, with its influential lobbyists, that got an additional year to meet the insurance mandate—when individuals did not. It was the unions that got a reprieve from a health-insurance tax—when individuals and small businesses were left to pick up the tab.
