I have many others to respond too, sorry I have not had much time to be on the last day or so.

The movie "Her" was better than I thought it would be, kinda makes you think. But as far as new movies go, "Lone Survivor" is amazing.

But I will get to many more responses hopefully soon, some all the way back on pages 3 and 4 if I remember correctly. Thanks everyone for sharing, and if there are any more assholes or trolls, let me know so I can bane them from here.

So, to start out, just incase anyone wants to play, what do you intend to get out of life, or why do you think we, or you personally, are here?

Or, what are your ideas of life and this and other dimensions, universes, etc?
 Quoting: Patrick Bateman

Me, personally?

To destroy all of these false systems that are built on untruths and/or deceptive manipulation, etc., like "science" and financial systems.

Good enough?

My ideas on other "dimensions" and things cause a lot of butthurt. ;) Not sure if many are ready for any of it.

We live in a world (largely) full of delusional idiots that would rather have their heads buried in the sand, only their heads were more or less forced into that sand by other delusional idiots.

It is quite sad, but very real.

I also agree with much of this, thanks for posting!

...

What was that particular essay called you mentioned the title did you not?
 Quoting: Balloons

The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus. you can find it online in audio or readable versions, you do not even need to dl it, but many places you can for free. It is about 100 pages, pretty quick read, but awesomely thought provoking!
 Quoting: Patrick Bateman

Just looked it up, 120 pages. It is definitely worth it though if anything like this interests you! I love his view point and how he turns it around into being good, while most people focus on it being bad in a way. Never mind I will not try to quickly explain, read it! :)

Tbh, I have never met anyone who has read it outside of my Existentialism class, and I have asked a lot of people I figured would have, a couple even with ivy league philo grad degrees, lol.
 Quoting: Patrick Bateman

It used to be rather popular when I was young. Young people read Camus and watched Bergman movies and talked about Sartre but didn't actually read Being and Nothingness, which was really a big mind f*ck anyway and adopted existential ennui as a way to get laid and get high. It was actually pretty depressing.

People don't read as much as they used to, and universities tend to encourage reading analysis and criticism rather than original works.
 Quoting: waterlily

I love Camus, Satyre, Dostoyovski, some Kafka, lots of kierkegaard, and many others etc. Existentialism was by far my fav class that was not physics, chem or bio..

That's true.

I'm very "mean" and facetious sometimes, at least it will appear that way. I don't enjoy seeing an overall lack of critical thinking. And by this I also mean those who are allegedly "intelligent," as this is often a very dogmatic stance. Blind obedience to "something" for no good reason other than bad habit, or maintaining the "status quo" is not terribly "good" in the long run...

;) Many think this is my real name, lol.

Thanks for the references, they always make me laugh!

Also, when bored sometime, you can ask any question and generally get some very intelligent and wide-spread pov.

I have asked a few questions on here in this manner, and have had some very good results. Even if the objectof the thread was to pick at people's brains, play devils advocate, w/e.

Why do I think we are here?
To live up to
Our DNA potential. To create Hand of God works in literature and art. Trades.

To help others.

To relieve suffering.
the wise shall shine brightly like the splendor of the firmament, and those who lead the many to justice shall be like the stars forever.

This is a training ground for eternity, a boot camp if you will. Its actually a tiny speck of time compared to forever. I do think we were chosen for this time, elite training. You need mega skills to traverse the hidden and dangerous landmines here, now, in this period. Keep you eye, heart, soul, and spirit on your Creator, the only way to endure this. He, Jesus, is our hope and salvation, Amen.

Why stop half-way?

What is the purpose of life for animals?
To reproduce, the product to grow by eating other products, and then die and be eaten by other products.

What is the purpose of life for humans?
To reproduce, the product to grow by eating other products, and then die and be eaten by other products.

In short, the purpose of life is to eat, and ultimately be eaten.

That one was actually easy to answer.

I'm personally still struggling with building a self-consistent model of all possible particle configurations that agree with experimental observations from quantum mechanics.

Building incorrect models all the time, and being partially wrong (which also means partially right) all the time, is the name of the game.

So, I guess, this time around, I'm going to abandon all unnecessary assumptions, and put it like this:

Particle #1: 1-lattice (ellipse), spin +-1, possible polarization angles 0-180 degrees (a property still completely independent from spin, or 0-90 degrees if spin is ignored by mixing into the incorrect definition of polarization) -> consistent with string theory model of a photon?

Particle #2: 2-lattice (the shape of a digit 8), spin +-0, possible polarization angles 0-180 degrees -> not appearing in string theory at all, but possibly a neutrino (also, the thing I wrongly accused of being a photon before); interestingly enough, a +1/-1 (spin) particle #1-pair has exactly the same properties as particle #2, which would make neutrinos not elementary particles

[note: none of the following are appearing in string theory, to the best of my knowledge)

Particle #3: linear 3-lattice (chain of two 8s with an overlapping middle 0), spin +-1/2, possible polarization angles 0-180 degrees -> seems consistent with an electron; also, seemingly equivalent to a +1/-1/+1 (or -1/+1/-1) particle #1-triplet, but such a triplet would actually have a spin of +-1, so appearances are deceiving in this case; the only way to have a +-1/2 spin is if particle #3 is an elementary one (the whole "string" is contained within the single "resonance chamber's" boundaries

Particle #4: star 3-lattice (3 petals), spin +-1/3, possible polarization angles 0-120 degrees (not 180 anymore) -> seems (only partially, so probably not) consistent with quarks; also, not equivalent (not even possible to exist, spin-wise) to a star particle #1-triplet

All the other possible particles (elementary and otherwise), some of which are stable, and some which are not, are designed as either:

a) n-lattice, where all:
a.1) even-lattice configurations have +-0 spin, and
a.2) odd-lattice configurations have +-1/n spin, or

b) combinations of above configurations, like, for example:
- square configuration of particle #2-pair, which is different from a.1) 4-lattice
- triangle configuration of particle #4-3xparticle #4
- star configuration of particle #4-3xparticle #1
- etc...

More complex configurations are obviously less stable than simpler ones, in the sense that complex ones can be "destroyed" more easily by interacting with either another "real" particle, or with a "virtual" one.

What makes a configuration possible to exist or not, in the first place, is the following:
a) the points touching the circle encapsulating the whole lattice-shape (the circle being the boundary of the particle's "resonance chamber", which actually means that all particles -- minus, possibly, neutrinos -- are elementary to begin with) also count as intersecting points,
b) each intersecting point must be visited at least once,
c) all intersecting points must be visited the same number of times... actually, not sure about this one, so maybe ease it with:
c.1) outer intersecting points must be visited equal or less number of times as inner intersecting points, and
c.2) all intersecting points at the same "depth" must be visited equal number of times?
d) anything else?

The spin is then calculated as the number of points touching the circle in clockwise direction minus number of similar points "going" in the counterclockwise direction, then divided by the number of passages through an outer-most intersecting point (any of them, due to the c) condition, with the most-outer points, those lying on the circle, making both particle's outer shell /propagating outward and slightly beyond the shell itself/ and the "chamber's" boundary, being the only thing that matter, as only they are "felt" by other interacting particles).

Apparently, somebody with a good grasp of graph theory will definitely come in handy in the attempt to unravel this extraordinarily convoluted string-ball of possibilities... lying hidden in the string theory.

I think so too.

For the rest of eternity, wherever you go in your explorations of the infinite multiverse, everyone that see you will ooh and aah over you. They'll whisper to each other:

"OMG! That's one of the guys who went to Earth during the Grand Fuckening!"

"No way!"

"Just check it out, his aura isn't lying! He really was there!"

"Yeah, I see it now! And can you believe it, he actually stood firm against the Fuckening and didn't budge - he didn't even take the vaxx!"

"The guy is a legend."

We spiritual elites who took on this impossible challenge and sailed through it like a boss will basically make pussy wet forever.

But that's not why we did it. We did it because we can.
