If poor people don't contribute to the economy at all, why do we still keep them alive? | |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 52248045 Poor people hardly earn enough in their lifetimes to contribute to consumerist economy, let alone government taxes. They sure don't create jobs. And yet the government spends billions to keep millions of people alive on welfare. Why keep them alive in misery for the rest of their lives? Wouldnt it be more humane if we just eliminated the poor from the face of the earth? life is more valuable than money that is why we "keep them alive" good answer. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 52696091 What he said wasn't commie, but fascist, the end product of capitalism. Which is where we are headed. Communism and fascism go hand in hand, after all the working people that have the fruit of their labor stolen from them need to be oppressed or they stop working or leave. Capitalism on the other hand is freedom. You get to keep what you work for and are free to do with it how you please. You little piece of communist/fascist shit. Yea, funny. If capitalism is freedom, why are we so enslaved? Because America is no longer a capitalist society. There is no bailouts, handouts, or "too big to fail" BS in capitalism. True capitalism wouldn't let the banks and automotive insid lye go under and something else would've taken its place. Glen Beck once said something along the lines of, if the government would have bailed out the horse and buggy industry back in the early 1900s where would we be today? Anonymous Coward User ID: 52583283 United States 01/09/2014 08:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Also, poor people do 100% of the actual work. They contribute to 100% of the workforce. Rich people do not. So essence, they're just being robbed. I don't recall seeing rich people do any work. I see their workers (the poor) doing all the work. Your entire argument is flawed not only by it's use of the "begging the question fallacy" and the "presuppositional fallacy", but you have also made a big mistake in your general position; that indeed the poor don't contribute. Who built everything with their hands or worked the machines? The 99%. Who skimmed off 99% of the workers paychecks? The 1%. It's just theft, because 99%ers are too stupid & cowardly and lack any discipline to work for themselves and stop supporting the 1%ers system. While they're not lazy, they deserve their fate because they CHOOSE not to do the more intelligent thing. Their lack of survival depends on their intelligence and volition... they have neither. |

I'd be very worried if I were you with thoughts like these streaming through your mind. The humane thing to do is not think thoughts like you have here and realize that what the poor lack in money, they make up by being rich in soul. Something that a genocidal mind cannot comprehend. |

Quoting: Zetetic I remember the first time I saw public housing in the early 80s. GovCo built a really nice neighborhood for these people. Within a year, at least half of the units had boarded windows. Was amazing to drive by every few weeks and see the deterioration. They do the same with houses zoned for section 8, the welfare scum just destroy them. well that's one of the solutions brief. but the society cant have any amount of piece while those poor and starving exist. but what use is a society if the wealth and efforts are not distributed. I thought that was the whole point of a society? No the point of a society is to make trade easier, not wealth redistribution...if you don't contribute to society you should be run out of town on a rail or just put to sleep, so that you aren't a drain on society. well the point of society has always been more than just trade. I suspect that since you are proposing new changes to the way society deals with its starving and poor its indeed your like that is trying to change society to fit your needs instead of making society better as a whole. |
