Sandy Hook: What gunman took Kaitlin Roig's cellphone?
CFS1200704559
Book 6
00003242

At approximately 9:45 someone (LE) was made aware that there was an active shooter...he/she was left with a dad looking for his son, he/she accompanied dad to firehouse and son was located.....

Now interesting part, Roig GRABBED this persons arm, was upset and feared her cell phone was taken by the gunman....WTF.
She was afraid all her personal information would be known by the person who took her phone......hummmmmm

The phone was pinged and was deemed to be within 32 meters of the school or most likely in the school. They were concerned at the time that there were multiple shooters.....

Now I ask you, this teacher, minutes after this massacre, had such a clear state of mind to wonder where her effing phone was?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34763230

This thread is courtesy of the above AC.

From 00003242:

CSP Officer Kenneth Christensen:

"...[M]y arm was grabbed by Kaitlin Roig, a first grade teacher at the school. She was upset and stated her classroom was the first class in the hall, that she feared her cell phone had been taken by the gunman. She was afraid that all her personal information would be known to the person who took her phone."

1. Why did she fear her phone had been taken by the gunman?

2. What personal information did she think her cell phone would convey to the gunman (does anyone have their home address on their cell phone??)

Possibilities:

Did Roig have personal photos/texts on the phone she was embarrassed about, and did she use "fear of gunman" as an excuse to get officers to find her phone?

Regardless: What in God's name would make her think a gunman would have her phone when the guy was obviously deceased in the school and every damn adult in the school would have known that within minutes of being lead from that school? Wouldn't cops have been assuring frantic teachers, "Don't worry -- he's dead -- you're safe" ?

WHO took Roig's phone?

Her reaction makes it sound as if a gunman WAS in her room, and demanded she turn over her cell phone. Up to that point, Roig had indeed made multiple 911 calls (if in fact the distinctive voice calling from the first hallway is Roig's).

excellent point. she had the phone in her hand only minutes earlier to make the 911 call and suddenly she can't find it?

we may be on to something here. She had to do a follow up interview with the police and address the issue that her door was open or that she thought her door was open or something like that.

so maybe the shooter went into her office? he had all day after he was done on Soto's office before the cops finally got inside. what did he do all that time ?

where did they ever find her phone ?

Different version with Roig in a meeting and rushing to her classroom:

Kaitlin Roig, a first-grade teacher, lived through the horror that began when she heard shots during a meeting -- and was hailed as a hero for shepherding 15 young students to safety.

She told ABC News she rushed to her classroom, locked the door and barricaded her students in a bathroom.

So now we have a report of her not even in her room.

Numerous reports that her window was shot out from the outside and that's what alerted her to hide all the kids.

Numerous reports she just heard the shooter.

Shooter skipping over her unlocked room and sparing her class.

I question the same thing, so far I have not read any report of them finding her phone.

In her interviews, IIRC, she claims her key was too far away for her to lock her door and speculates that the window was covered so the shooter may have thought the room was empty.

She never claims to hear the shooter walking around her room that I have found.

Why do police literally start a manhunt for her missing phone, how did she convince LE that the gunman took her phone as opposed to it just being lost in the shuffle?

In the midst of all the carnage, she had to have had a pretty compelling story for LE to stop everything and take the time to ping her phone.

From PlasMan:

Kaitlyn Roig is an interesting story. I call her the Super Model and wife gets pissed over it. Sure I get it that you will hang on the interviews but it's what has happened SINCE that is most bizarre. She's not even there anymore.

Weird...The dude says nobody left, then he admits Roig is gone.

I'm telling you there are very few, if any, of the "TV personalities" of Sandy Hoax still anywhere near the place.

(PlasMan response)

There are a few who moved around the District. At least two retired (Perry and Virgala for sure). Hammond is Lead Teacher at HOM. Roig was asked to leave last spring because she would not teach without her mother in room.
This year, she couldn't get herself to teach and took a 1 year leave of absense. She has sprouted up at some charity and appeared in a few magazines.

Excerpt from an article, she obviously told reporter the "borrowed" a phone, I find mentioning that small fact odd but telling.

Nick quickly played his messages and found one from Kaitlin. She’d called from a borrowed phone and said only that something had happened but she was safe.

"Tense atmosphere

The teacher is reluctant to talk about why she chose to take a sabbatical. There had been tensions between some Sandy Hook teachers and the district administration over several issues - how quickly the school would try to return to some version of normal; how public should educators be in discussing the tragedy; what were the best ways for the school community to deal with its anguish.

Board of Education member Bill Hart said he knows no specifics behind Roig-DeBellis' leave..."

Re: Sandy Hook: What gunman took Kaitlin Roig's cellphone?
Is the Barth home fire in March, 2012 really an accident?

Not a single family has gone public with a story that contradicts the official story--except the Barths.

The Barths stated publicly that bullets "came in through the window." That means that they stated publicly that someone in the parking lot fired a weapon into the school through Roig's window.

NOWHERE in the official report is that mentioned.

Think about the families from Roig's room--the forgotten families. Every other affected family (from Soto's, Rousseau's rooms) received compensation for their loss or trauma.

Not ONE, single child in Roig's class received a dime.

This despite the fact that bullets likely entered their classroom, too; and they heard screaming, and possibly saw blood.

But none of the kids in Roig's room get a dime.

Wouldn't it be possible that the families of the extremely traumatized kids in Roig's room, who heard screaming and shooting through the wall in Soto's room, think they should receive at least some compensation for their child's trauma?

Mightn't the Barths, having, as they do, information contradicting the official story, be tempted to release this story unless they receive compensation? Only to have their home and pets (R.I.P.) burned to the ground as a silencing tactic?

Could it have been taken by someone dressed in gear carrying a rifle (swat?) that was part of the drill? And they didn't want her taking pictures. And she just thought the guy was the shooter?

Good question, so let's assume that happened, that would tell us that some LE had no idea of the drill because they had, IIRC, the FBI folks ping the phone then went to search for it. It was pinging within 32 meters of the school and the report leads me to believe they searched that whole area, even knocking on doors.

if they could get within 32 meters, then they could just call it and follow the sound.

it does seem a little bit weird that they went through this much trouble for a phone. i don't know if pinging it would be very difficult. but, to search it down might be depending on where she left it.

I believe they were under the assumption that a potential shooter had it because according to her, she thought a shooter took it, which is totally ridiculous to think unless she handed it to one!

Hey that may be a possibility? She made the point of telling a reporter she had to borrow a phone to call fiancé.....hummmmm

I just don't comprehend how that could be of any importance to her amidst all the mayhem and carnage of the day, at around 10:00 am to boot and what could she possibly have told LE that lead them to believe a shooter actually had it....it must of been very convincible for LE to jump into action.

That could be why Roig later said, "We were having morning meeting -- my favorite time of the day with the students," something to that effect. Could be a cover for the fact her students had been left alone, maybe? Have to ck the audio though--there may be another adult w/her in that room.

Could be the reporter misunderstanding "morning meeting," too, and filling in blanks. Hard to tell. But great find.

Could be an attempt to reduce the horror of the story (and the liability) somehow; why not have the deceased children ALL be in classrooms where the teachers are also deceased - that way no one can say a living teacher had kids die under her care.

I think the only possible reason to justify the manhunt would be her claim that a second gunman actually had it - i.e. their hunt was really for the gunman.

Why in the name of the gods would a gunman pause to steal someone's cellphone in the middle of a mass slaughter?

How did ANY gunman get Roig's phone, and how can LE say with a straight face now that there was no second gunman?

Exactly,

We all knew from the start they appeared to be looking for several shooters right...

They had cleared the school and she claims she was in the closet for 45 minutes, the report, while somewhat vague on the time claims she was already at the firehouse around 10:00, one big inconsistency.

She never mentions hearing anyone in her room, she hears voices and commotion outside her room per interviews.

One article says she rushes back to her room, another inconsistency.

She never claims to see the shooter yet we would have to assume she had some pertinent info that lead police to think that there was someone other than the dead guy.

Did she describe him? What could she have told them?

Do she send them on a wild goose chase for a reason?

Why was her phone so important for a shooter to steal and police to track is what I'm getting at....

I think there's really only one logical way for Roig to think a gunman had her phone:

She saw a gunman take her phone.

It makes no sense to be lead to safety from the school, being told the gunman is dead, and assume he has your phone and somehow poses a threat.

It makes no sense to be lead to safety from the school being told the gunman is dead, or even suspecting a second gunman is at large, and assume he's going to sneak back in through police and get your phone.

The only way I can see that you'd think a gunman had your phone is if a gunman took your phone while you were watching.
