Were children killed in or from Roig's classroom? One officer in Room 8 said his first thought was that the deceased children in the Room 8 (Rousseau's) bathroom had been killed elsewhere and then put in the bathroom.

I'll find that reference.

Excerpt from an article, she obviously told reporter the "borrowed" a phone, I find mentioning that small fact odd but telling.

Nick quickly played his messages and found one from Kaitlin. She’d called from a borrowed phone and said only that something had happened but she was safe.

Oh, the irony in this stupid article. It goes on about the "Sandy Hook truthers" yet how much truth is actually in this story?

Adam Lanza shot himself in the temple, eh?

Interesting that she said Gingerbread houses would be "soon" and not the same day and also the highlight of the day would be the reading specialist and not making gingerbread houses with their dads.

Further reading- "Kaitlin took two children by the hand, SWAT teamers took the others by ones and twos, and they all walked past the two classrooms where students and teachers lay slaughtered"
They wouldn't have walked past the those rooms. As the article earlier pointed out, Roig's classroom was the first one. They would have gone straight out the front door.

Unless there really was action further down the hall, or even around the corner in Vollmer's section--the section first demolished.

Remember, too, that all initial reports said (in some detail) the shooting happened/began/"erupted" in kindergarten classrooms.

If the kids went out the front door, wouldn't they have to walk past Hochsprung and Sherlach on the floor? I'm trying to remember which doorway is closest to the front doors, room 9's or Roig's.

Yes, but the article doesn't even mention them, but instead the classrooms which were away from the doors. I suppose it is possible that they took the kids the long way out away from the dead adults in the hallway. Of course it would seem that they would also shut the doors tot he classrooms while the kids went past.

Remember the pics with the dozen cops walking up Riverside? That was the group that searched Apex glass. Why not just cut through the woods instead of walking all the way by the firehouse?
I have a suspicion the timing of them searching Apex and Sally Cox coming out of the closet at 1 pm are related.

Roig may be the key to unraveling this thing. One teacher said there was some bad blood at the school over recent firings and a rather nasty divorce. More food for the Sandy Hook fishes!

Something else bothers me that there's 2 empty parking spaces on the front row at SHES. The cars parked behind those spaces are unnaturally far back as if a long vehicle like a van were parked in the space ahead. Narcotics task force had a van and was in action at some growers place when the first calls came out.

Who was the bus driver and why was there a school bus parked in front of the firehouse?

Why did one cop say "get the bus"? Did he mean "school bus" and not ambulance? I think there may be another black Honda civic parked in front of the firehouse by the Christmas trees. It looks like the front end is totaled.

Sorry to go OT, could be relevant is why I ask.

Typically when a cop mentions "the bus", it is referring to a mobile command post or command bus... Basically, a fancy RV outfitted for police work.

"The bus" in this case should refer the ambulance. A Newtown cop, too, inside the school says, "We need buses - call Danbury if you have to!"

Re: Sandy Hook: What gunman took Kaitlin Roig's cellphone?
My old method of speech reversals gave me(imo) some insights into Sandy Hook, but recently and accidently i have come across a new technique that has brought forward a lot more info to me and I will share here for what it is worth.

I have already stated that kids (possibly babies as i hear the age group of one was 2) were brought in for the purpose of abuse and one girl was taken outside the building and died who is connected to man in the woods

Adam (assuming that's his name) 'waited for school for school to be out'There was no forced entry he just pushed the doors open. Halstead I hear say on 911 call 'he was already here'
'he locked us out' 911 audio Roig?
operator says 'get the better of him'
later i hear 'he's outsmarted us' (although i do believe they finally get him but not totally certain)
Multiple sources I hear about a wet hallway and a fire lt that was put out

Abused kids 8 girls
2 women (possibly one other Adam?)
They burned the bodies after (heard this from a lot of people)
Bodies defiled

Roig had a gun
She is a male (I think)
A very 'scary' person feared by the children

May have taken photos of children hence the cell phone connection
child victim bitten on arm or armpit

Rick Thorne referred to as a 'gay pedo'
'I'm Ted'
'I've come packing it'
I was born here'
'I'm the courier'
'you know I'm having fun'
I murder, I not hung now'
Dots together perhaps in prison and a deal made

All above is imo

So many quotes saying people smelled smoke even outside the building. But then I came across a picture showing a group of 3 tactical officers one of whose face was covered in soot except for the area around his eyes where you could tell his shooting glasses kept it off.
You finally put that together for me, thanks.

I understand many of the bodies were cremated including Adam naturally.

The search at Apex glass was supposedly over her cell phone but what if it was in her purse along a with a gun? That might explain the urgency in trying to find it.

Obviously it would be urgent to find the cellphone if they thought the shooter had taken it, as finding the cellphone would mean they also find the shooter. The cellphone was only an urgency because it would lead them to a suspect.

They went looking for the phone around 12 noon. That means they marched all the kids and staff out of the school while they thought a 2nd shooter was still on the loose.
That's in direct conflict with "shelter in place" procedures that only allow students to come out once the threat has been neutralized.

So either the 2nd shooter was never meant to be caught or was imaginary or they put everyone in danger after 26 people were just murdered.

But it makes perfect sense if it was just a drill and the phone contained footage that they couldn't afford to have come out.

I'd think the smoke would be smelled and reported by a lot of people, and that a lot of kids would have soot on them, too. But--anything's possible.

One of my earliest thoughts was whether or not this was a horrific retaliation for the children we kill in the Mideast, and that the administration was adamant not to let that information be known, so invented a "crazed teenaged killer." I know Adam wasn't a teenager, but everyone talks about him as if he was.

There were just so, so many people there, though - if they burnt that many bodies, the smell would have been incredibly overpowering--there is no way to hide such a thing. Those classroom windows in the front were open; hundreds of reporters would have smelled it, and smoke would still be coming from the building for hours.

I do think, though, that something happened in the southeast hallway (the one they demolished first). It could have been something horrible like chemicals.

I will now add that 'Adam' was definitely shot in the forehead and died next to his mother, I have just watched One Families story of survival, I hear it in Rob's account. I didn't do their interview previous as I thought it was not a priority

I will also add a hunch here about Adam and Ryan, nothing specific heard except the odd word, is it possible they could be twins

I don't think a drill would call for Kaitlin Roig calling multiple times. In the second call, she's notably more agitated.

A drill also wouldn't script a CSP dispatcher complaining about how terrible dispatch consolidation is (imo).

Re: Sandy Hook: What gunman took Kaitlin Roig's cellphone?
Okay - some guy named Vest, a former custodian at SHS, was friends with Roig. There are multiple police reports regarding this gentleman and his conversations with Roig, to include that she told him Lauren Rousseau was "fumbling for a key in an emergency folder" (how would she know that?)

[link to oi39.tinypic.com]

There's another police report somewhere referring to a guy who claims to have some kind of relationship with Roig, is aware she's engaged, but is flying back from Florida to see her anyway.

[link to oi42.tinypic.com]

And in this third report, the friend/boyfriend's name is revealed as "Vest."

[link to oi40.tinypic.com]

So it sounds as if Roig had a friendship with a retired custodian from Sandy Hook School, and that she called him immediately after the incident.

Is this why she told police "a gunman took my phone?" Was it just that she was mortified her fiance might find a call to an old flame? Been there - done that :) (And my husband has, too). Ah, the tangled webs.

I still think it's possible a gunman did take Roig's phone, but wondering whether it's also possible she just really needed that phone found, fast.

Re: Sandy Hook: What gunman took Kaitlin Roig's cellphone?
So, the hunt for Roig's phone, Book 6, 00003242.

While trying to locate Roig's phone--unspecified as to whether cops had called it yet--a phone is heard "pinging" (possibly typo for "ringing") in an area away from the school.

FBI SA Brogan then used equipment in his car to determine that Roig's phone, specifically, was located within 32 meters of the school, "most likely still inside the school, or very close to it."

The location of Roig's phone is potentially very important. If it's inside the school, she could have just left it behind and is freaking someone will find her call to her old flame (or other things). Or, of course, a gunman really could have taken it and dropped it in the school.

If it's outside the school, it matters a LOT where exactly it is outside the school. If it's between the school and the FD, fine--Roig could have dropped it. And a second gunaman could have still dropped it there somehow, too (maybe Manfredonia was running with Roig's phone--kidding).

But if it's *anywhere* else except between SHS and the FD, that becomes interesting, because there's no indication Roig did anything but hide in the bathroom and then get lead straight to the FD. If it's outside the building in any area except the parking lot, or if it's in any hallway but Roig's, that's a problem.

Somewhere in the NPD audio that day is a transmission by an officer about "possible evidence behind the school." I think someone said that might be a black bag, but it's never mentioned in the audio; could also be the phone.
whatever

It was a ping...meaning they can tell approximate location. I believe I read it was some glass store nearby and they went and searched there but don't believe I ever read if it was located. I think this was referenced in more than 1 police report.

Thanks for this! Technically (acc to Christensen) they didn't actually ping it until after someone reported a phone "pinging in an area away from the school," after which he and FBI SA Brogan found out Roig's number and then faxed Sprint for emergency approval, and only then used equipment in Brogan's car to actually ping the phone.

However, it could be a Freudian slip for Brogan pinging it immediately, and Christensen fudging the sequence of events. Under the circumstances I have a hard time buying the story that, while desperately searching for a second gunman who might be locateable by pinging a teacher's phone, they wouldn't just go ahead and ping it before getting approval.
