The man of evil will come first. He will be someone who is released from the pit for a short time........ a past leader who comes back from the dead.

The 6th was currently in power. The 7th would come in the future for a short time (Hitler?). The 8th is of the seven........coming back to life. He will be the anti-Christ. The 6th was probably the Roman emperor in power 90 AD. In my opinion......the 7 having something in common.......perhaps those leaders and empires who in the past have persecuted or attempted to extinguish Israel. God however has always preserved a remnant of Israel......not for anything good about them.......but to defend His Word and Promise to Abraham for his act of faith and obedience (Gen 22).
