As long as you can vote for one of two or three political parties who espouse different policies but implement identical laws, you're legitimizing these scum.
Don't vote; they can't claim a mandate or the people if only 1 per cent of the population goes out and votes for them.

We seem to have fallen into the Idiocracy and now select our government representatives on the basis of TV presence, good hair, and all around only want movie start looks.

Just look where we are now. We have a whole lot of good looking Congressmen, Senators, and a President that can't seem to think their way out of the proverbial bag and act like it would actually kill them to cooperate and put the good of the country ahead of their own interests.

Just think. Could Abraham Lincoln be elected today? Not likely. He was too plain looking and some would say downright homely. Same for Harry Truman. Eisenhower was a bald as could be and Franklin D. Roosevelt was hardly a handsome stud.

So just what have we settled for?

In the meantime, by this time next year we will have a national debt of 18 trillion, horrible medical care as doctors begin shutting down their practices because they aren't getting reimbursed enough to keep them open, waiting lists for just about any medical procedure or diagnostic test and a lousy economy with few jobs being created.

On the plus side, maybe all those states who are considering legalizing the Big Weed....will be filled with those in the Idiocracy who will simply be too stoned to vote.

That could turn out to be the blessing in disguise!
