In other words, insurance purchased through Obamacare’s government-run exchanges isn’t even full-fledged private insurance; rather, it’s a sort of private-public hybrid. Private insurance companies pay for costs below $45,000, then taxpayers generously pick up the tab—a tab that their president hasn’t ever bothered to tell them he has opened up on their behalf—for four-fifths of the next $200,000-plus worth of costs. In this way, and so many others, Obamacare takes a major step toward the government monopoly over American medicine (“single payer”) that liberals drool about in their sleep. |

All of this is still very risky for the insurance companies and I wonder why they agreed to jump in bed with the administration. You would almost have to be threatened with 'this or a single-payer system and you are out of business' situation. A single-payer system -- will put millions involved in the administrative aspects of healthcare out of work, in addition to millions of employees in the private insurance area. Would it save money -- yes, in the short term. It would also devastate our economy further. It would also give government full control of our healthcare and quickly destroy the industry. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

We’re going to have to, A., fix the website so everybody feels confident about that. We’re obviously going to have to remarket and rebrand and that will be challenging in this political environment.” Read more at [link to freedomoutpost.com] That's right.. they are just forcing your mouths open extra wide to scare you so the real pill will go down nice and easy. ..they will change the name, impeach Obama and have folks come with the saving grace plan. There were rumors that there would be an insurance industry bailout to compensate them for Obamacare losses - But whaddya know - they baked it into the cake! Of course the goal was single payer to begin with. Why control some of the economy when you can HAVE IT ALL? They just want the populace to BEG for it because the alternatives we are left with are so bad. REINSURANCE is the insurance the INSURANCE COMPANIES buy to limit their risks. In this case - The full faith and credit of the US gov't is the REINSURANCE company. (Damned)ie The taxpayer. We all know the taxpayer has unlimited funds.(sarcasm) Oh my, So our health insurance system HAS been completely taken over by the government. The insurance companies just retained enough responsibility to make money for their shareholders. Just that eensy weensy bit to stay in business, while the government runs everything else. And who do you call if you go over $250,000 in costs? The government that is responsible for paying it. whoa. "What are you helping with all this helping?" Buddhist saying |

Why aren't they losing any sleep? Because three quarters of their losses are to be re-paid by the American tax payers! Never mind that projections show that Obamacare will swindle $1.071 TRILLION from American tax payers over the next decade, now they are subsidizing their losses! American tax payer to pay 3/4 of losses! Of course it is a bailout for insurance companies and the IRS is the enforcer. Unlike an enforcer for banker bailouts, of which the .gov had none. The bankers/banks gave .gov the finger. So, .gov changed the 'rules' and are now picking on the citizens of this country who work hard and don't cheat. .gov gave us 'something' for their new tax which is health insurance premiums jacked up twice the regular rate. Rates that were $300 for an individual are now $600. Screw SCOTUS John Roberts and his helping hand in this. |
