I think there may be more than one reason for tptb to keep info like this from the masses.

I'm just throwing this out there for those who like to research and look for connections, (as I do).

This may also have something to do with the Hollow Earth theory.

Remember that in Genesis it says "there were giants IN the earth in those days; and also after that," (emphasis mine).

Previously, in Genesis, when Cain was punished for killing Abel, he said to the Lord, "My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, Thou hast driven me out this day FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH; and from thy face shall I be HID; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond IN THE EARTH..."

So, if the giants lived IN the earth - and Cain was banished from the FACE of the earth, to live as a vagabond IN the earth...

Can you see that - if the Hollow Earth theory has any validity, that could be another reason for not wanting the masses to know about the giants?

Also, a few years back, an expedition was arranged by this guy for travelling to and exploring the alleged opening in the earth found at the North Pole.

Tickets were purchased and all was a "go," when the guy who headed it up got "pancreatic cancered," and died six months before they were scheduled to leave. Later, someone else picked up the project and when the expedition was ready to begin, there was a problem with the chartering of the ice breaker, (apparently, the one they chartered wasn't available or something like that).

A couple of other points that seem to connect: The video mentioned a wall with hieroglyphics etched in it, (which can also be found in various places around America). Egyptian art always depicted rulers as giants.

The mentioning of the six fingers and toes and horns: Very rarely, individuals are born with such traits. And of course, giants are still known to us today.

Genetically speaking, aren't all traits inherited?

Also, in Exodus, it talks about Moses coming down the mountain after meeting with the Lord. I can't remember exactly where it is written about. Anyway - Moses came down from the mountain and it says his face was shining so brightly that he had to wear a veil over it. The word in Hebrew that was used for "shine or shining" also could be translated as "horned." In some very early, (medieval, I think), artwork, Moses is depicted as horned. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the apostles are as well.

First - I'm not claiming anything as fact. It is a curious way of wording that I noticed and that caused me to feel the connection while researching such things. Second - there are different Hollow Earth theories out there. I've only scratched the surfaces of them so far, so I am not well enough versed to explain them.

But there is enough evidence that the nature of our true reality is hidden from us and great lengths were taken to achieve that.

well, even if the gravitational pull was weaker than now, this is not what is important, but the existence of giants per se is important.

Not going either way, but that is a BAD analogy. We're biological systems that grow and reproduce (potential change/improvement under own systems), while cars are non-living material objects that require something outside of them to change their systems/functions.

Yes the article from the New York times 100 years ago is lacking pictures. However, A near by college actually took part in the recovery process and it was well documented. Many intelligent people saw and measured the bones, which were never seen or heard of again after having been collected by the "officials." I have seen some photos while researching the event as well.

Obviously there was some cover up. Even more interesting is that there were several such events of giants remains being discovered and then disappearing in the hands of the experts.

Simple fact of where is any photo of the remains of the Mayan king Lord Pakal, says it all. A mayan king that was a giant with an elongated skull.. no biggie. We will take there word for whatever. .

Holy Cow! I've been lurking here for a while, but this post made me have to make an account and reply. I've been fishing on Lake Delavan three times! It's so crazy to think that these giants were so close. I had no idea.

Didn't read the whole thread so someone may have already mentioned this, but I'm convinced these giants were real. I'm not sure if they're related to the nephilim as mentioned in the bible, but it wouldn't surprise me.

It's my firm belief that all fairy tales are for the purpose of passing on esoteric knowledge. Whenever I've bothered to look into a fairy tale, I've discovered some surprising things.

For instance - the story of Jack and the bean stalk had, according to things I've read, been an oral tradition long before it had been written down.

And, (just to illustrate what I mean by certain ideas being connected), we have a bean stalk, (ladder) that transports Jack, (Jacob) to the kingdom of giants, (angels?).

In many things that I've read over the past few decades, angels are always described as being gigantic.

The story of Jack and the bean stalk is taught as a fairy tale. But why are there so many stories that reference ladders, towers, and other such constructs for reaching heaven? It makes one wonder if things that we've always thought of as metaphors could have some basis of reality to them.
