UPDATE: more findings Chase sent me out a new card without my even asking for one. Now I wonder if the card is chipped or if I even want it. Since the Target thing I have been using cash more and more, I don't like stores lurking and monitoring my shopping habits. Quoting: Corn Dog I do question, since I used a bank card, how did Target get all of that info? Or does my bank give all my info out to anyone who processes a card transaction? What the hell happened to privacy? that's the thing. all of my bank cards were replace except one. and that one is showing a status of "compromised" i have zero target cards so all of my data was stolen on four different bank cards, with cards being replaced automatically, simply by swiping it for purchases. Oh crap I thought it was just their "Red Cards" that were compromised, you're saying it was every credit card or debit card used there? yes. any card swiped from their machine. any card. |
