Well, it looks like she unhooked it getting out (but it could have just been lying across her lap). But she didn't reconnect it (at least in the video).

In the last two towns I have lived in my carriers have been pretty much the same. Lazy. The last town I lived in it was a foot route for the carriers. If there was a small package to deliver or small envelope that needed to be signed for they would leave a "sorry we missed you" note at the mailbox without ever coming to the door to see if anyone was home. Then you would have to drive to the P.O., wait in line blah , blah.

I moved 6 months ago and now have a motor delivery route and it's the same shit. I don't even mail letters from my mailbox anymore out of fear they will get lost or thrown away.

If there had been an in-ground sprinkler system and she had ran over one of the sprinklerheads, I hope the owner would sue for every penny.

Really discourteous aside from just being lazy. Who wants tire tracks in their lawn?

I love that the taxpayer is subsidizing an organization that hires people like this and pays them 100k a year.

She's probably on light duty....but there is nothing light about her!

Re: Talk about LAZY: Check out this video of a Postal Worker driving up walkway to deliver a package!
This happened last summer. I ordered 10 silver rounds from Provident Metals and they provided a tracking number and supposedly they were delivered the day they said they would be by tracking confirmation.

There was no delivery failure notice or attemp to deliver to the door because I was home and say the carrier drive by on her normal.route.

I call the P.O. And they said come in around 5:00 and she should be back by then. Waited 20 minutes and no show so I left. The next day there was a note left in the box and still no attemp to walk to the front door with the 10 oz. package.

So I go to the P.O., give them the slip and they bring out my package. I asked the lady at the front desk how the package would be there when I just received the "sorry we missed you slip" an hour before.. I said, don't you try and deliver the package before you leave a slip?

She got really pissy and said..... I don't know how the system works!!! Exact words.

LAZZZZZYYYYYY. Sucks, but when no consequences are threatened for substandard performance, don't be surprised when the level of service declines -- precipitously

I go a better one....one time a postal guy was so lazy he threw my package like a foot ball onto my steps from across the street....seem he was to lazy to cross the street...making matters worse, it was my box of BANK CHECKS!...there is a bad high school a block away that all the kids walk by my house and there is a bunch of homeless guys going to the free food kitchen up the street...

luckily my neighbor took in the dented box before it was stolen....There been a epidemic of stolen packages in my area....

They play games...they know they only have to make 1 attempt to deliver before you have to go to the office to pick up so they try the "you wasn't home" crap all the time....

I busted them in a lie a few times....once when I went to pick up my package, the clerks said I wasn't home for delivery....I told her so why was there not delivery attempt slip left by the driver? I received the notice with my regular mail the following day...

Another time they pulled the same excuse, I told them I work from home with my office window facing the front door AND asked if he wanted to review my security camera video to look for the invisible delivery driver....
