so, the government makes drugs illegal, to fight a war on drugs, gets money from the tax payers to fight the war on drugs and gets paid, then turns around and uses that money to give protection to the drug cartels, and supply them with firearms in order to make money off of the drugs coming into the country. In the meantime hoping some of the guns will hit the streets so they can call for gun confiscation. Invades the country of Afghanistan, but doesn't shut down the poppy fields but ends up guarding them, and once again running the drug cartel over there as well.

Then by the time all those drugs and money come back into the United States, the real war is in the streets of our country. So the solution is to create corporate prisons in order to lock up the most people possible in order to create slave labor camps for the corporate prisons to create even more revenue for the government, while creating the largest prison population per capita in the entire world!

Not only that, but then allow your big banks on Wall Street like HSBC to launder their money directly through the drug cartels to enrich themselves and the cartels, terrorize the entire nation of Mexico, keep them oppressed, and living in fear and constantly destabilize their nation in order to have a third world cheap labor country next door so we can make all of our fords, and our fruit of the looms, and our hanes t-shirts down in Mexico for cheap labor prices and make even more profits!!! and no one doing it goes to jail.

We can't just shut down Opium production in Afghanistan. A lot of farmers depend on it for a living, some of it goes to pain medicine, and the drug kingpins would raise hell. The drug kingpins are the problem. If they found out their money maker was going to disappear in a year or two, they would burn down everything to get it back. Sure we could fight them, but there would be more collateral than Vietnam. And we can't bribe them because the boss would lose respect and be replaced by someone who wouldn't "bow down to the American dollar."
