I'm in the far northern tundra farthest point you can get buy vehicle I agree the weather changes often and in patterns and most climate change / global warming is BS but to have the wild temp swings we have had is not a normal -30c to + 5c in one day in January our coldest month is not a pattern or normal. someone / something is warming the atmosphere my speculation is they have been loosing control ( which they never had ) over the weather and the atmosphere is blowing back trying to regain balance

I'm not claiming doom I enjoy the warm breaks while the yanks freeze but its not normal

Take a good look. It depicts electrically charged solar wind interacting with magnetic field lines. See how they wave in the wind as the CME rolls over them ??

When the charged incoming solar wind collides with our magnetic field, which is normally charged all the time, it bumps the charge and creates geomagnetic activity. Our magnetic field includes ionosphere currents, van allen belts and JET STREAMS. The jet streams then get sideways curling and whipping like the IMF interplanetary magnetic field lines above.

It's the electrical nature of our solar system that drives our weather and in the case of a polar vortex (which is nonsense fairy tale science) the mid latitude jet stream whips up to the arctic jet stream and pulls it down and all that very cold arctic air comes with it. Like rolling your window down on a friggin frigid night while driving.

i am going to agree with you something isn't right with the weather it is fluctuating way to much and we had our warmest daytime high record broken at 4 am strange to say the least but i am enjoying the warm weather

In these parts they're calling for 0 to -15F for Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs nights. Not too bad, really. If the wind isn't too brisk it's no problem. That wind is a killer.

It was 47+ here today in South Central, Alaska right now 2 AM it is still +43 and snow is melting rapidly. Lake by my house is now wide open and full of ducks swimming and quacking non-stop.

Mama Moose and her two calf's were standing in the lake drinking and eating willow shoots this afternoon same family as video. Never seen that in January...was happy to see them as they had vanished after we filmed them last summer. If you look at her side she survived some sort of injury/attack they all looked really healthy today :) I've seen more Moose in the last week than I've seen in the last 6 months.
