That was published on Monday, the 17th. How in the WORLD were they already talking about "recovoring and moving on from this tragedy"? Their resilient theme eas already in play. It seems like the entire community would still be in such a state of shock that they would still be unable to function let alone start "recovoring."

I was stunned at that reaction, expressed so many times and by so many people.

Only at the end of a long illness, I think, can people feel any kind of positive feeling immediately after a death; then, yes, you can feel relieved for the person, and secretly relieved for yourself that at least the suffering of your loved one is over and therefore some of your own suffering.

But never have I seen euphoria or joy or light heartedness just after a sudden death of a child. Never. I doubt anyone has.

For one thing, people usually don't even accept it--some for a long, long time. If the death of anyone is sudden, it takes a while to even start talking in terms acknowledging the person is dead. So to say from day one that it's "time to move on and heal" is just not really believable without further explanation.

Yes that was always a bit over the top for me. Even news reports were asking how they can move forward. Heck it took a month after hurricane Sandy before people started talking about healing and moving forward.

Read the obituaries. How did they get that in depth of detail within 3 days? They seem professionally done by a team of, I don't know, obituary writers or something. That whole edition seems just too slick and too fake. It makes me kind of sick at my stomach.

They seem kind of proud at what happened. Like they are showing off their resourcefullness and how strong they are for surviving such a horrible tragedy.

Maybe it's a template for a future fake tragedy.

Where is O when a cop in real life guns down a mentally handicapped person or just a guy that looked at him wrong?
