Strange Coincidence- need your thoughts as to the meaning

On Thursday my husband recieved a call from an old coworker who said her company really needed him and wanted him to come in and meet with the owner Friday . So he did. It's a good fit. He recieved an offer letter and said he wanted this weekend to look it over.

We've already drafted our counter - we're waiting for a response to a clarification email before we send it,.

Ok so anyway - it's my husbands bday weekend so we dropped off the kids with the grandparents and are out. (Cutrent at a bar watching the game and drinking vodka )

We decided to do something we've NEVER done here- go to the casino. We weren't there for 15 minutes before we heard someone yell my husbands name - it was the owner of the company thAt he just interviewed with.

What are the chances? We believe things happen for a reason and can't figure this one out.
