One of our clients was in new yawk state and the state required the tax withholdings 3 days from the payroll date. Not 3 working days, but 3 days. That told me then and there that they spent it as soon as they got it, if not before hand. My hometown is the same way. Most cities in Mississippi get their sales tax monies from the state on a monthly basis, but my hometown wants it every week because they are desperate for the cash. |
